Okay I listened to what megyn Kelly said numerous times. She is not saying it’s okay for a man to rape you if you go to his hotel room after just meeting him, she is saying to EXPECT a man to be rude and throw you a towel after sex if you go to his room after just meeting him. All of these allegations aside: a) He's an alcoholic with a drinking problem. Coworkers at Fox have mentioned that he would show up at work at 10:00am smelling of fresh booze (meaning he drank that morning...not the night before). Pete doesn't dispute this, only says that "nobody ever told him" he has a drinking problem. b) He's on his 3rd wife and has admittedly cheated multiple times with his 2 former wives, including with the woman who became his next wife in both instances (he has admitted to this). c) he's incredibly underqualified, holding only a Captain level position with the National Guard. There is a video of him describing in detail his personal belief on how the U.S. military should be run. One of his points is that women should not be in the armed forces. At the very least, his confirmation hearing needs to cover how he's going to replace all the women he drives out of the military. We don't know why they didn't press charges? I think we do, really. I'm a working-class person who was SA'd by a fellow working-class person, and the police laughed in my face when I reported it. Their bias against women is enormous. They avoid prosecuting whenever possible, and it usually is. That's why less than 1% of rapists ever end up in prison for rape. Add to that the fact that Hegseth is one of our elite, which adds an additional layer of protection, and I think it's clear why they didn't prosecute. It's simple misogyny.
