my ex passed away 2 months ago. this song reminds me of my favorite time with him. we were young I'm our late 30s helping our kids build sand castles. we got into a sand fight and chased each other into the ocean laughing. A very powerful and touching song. I've recently started reading about the SONS and have been taken aback on how young they were when they established the group. I still can't wrap my head around the fact that the entire Kamakawiwo'ole family has passed away; and so young. Unfortunately, you can't control your Genetics.
