Woah - if this is true (and there’s little reason to doubt) this is really something. The possible post-surgery reduction in trauma - physical and otherwise - would be immense. Also, I’m sitting here as a monolingual American, marveling at their ability to have this conversation in English when German and Farsi are their mother tongues. Sheeit - I get laughed at ordering a taco in my bad Spanish. Big props 2 you for dropping this knowledge.
