Legislation in Islam was modified throughout the years. NOT CHANGED! but slightly modified based on the lifestyle and differences between the era of Muhammad's and nowadays. So a lot of the stuff that occurred during the Prophet (PBUH) is modified currently but the punishment for these actions does exist indeed and didn't and will never be altered. Please read about Islam before criticizing it.

Yes, Taliban is more political than it is religious, many Muslim scholars disagree with them, many agree with them, many have neutral stand, but you only want to choose what suits you best and generalize it.

@@rahatzaman8120 you're right but my point is that some people will claim that Taliban and Isis practice the real islam when in reality many scholars disagree with them because Taliban and Isis mostly are the creation of political and proxy wars by the United States and Russia, they don't represent all Muslims or even Islam in its full scope. But alot of people use Isis and Taliban as the example of Muslims practicing their faith, and they don't paint the full picture. Generalizing that if a Muslim practice his faith he is bound to be violent which is not true. And they don't bring up the political troubles in the middle east or poverty after so many years of wars by the US that fueled these groups to emerge.

Abdullah brother I love you, but please do not forget that The Holy Qur'an and Prophet Muhammad PBUH both made it absolutely clear that Islam can never be forced upon anyone, thats a sin, and also preaching Islam has to be done in the most polite and compassionate manner. Also, killing Apostates or killing those muslims who don't volitionally want to adhere to Islamic ways, is also never something that the Qur'an preaches or Muhammad PBUH preaches.
