Great video , and i must thank you for tip about gunwash thinners causing silicones . Now i clean the internals off my guns with basecoat thinner and my jobs are coming out much better.👍

Thanks Jimmy 👍, good to hear some of my ramblings are helping. Most recycled wash type thinners are pretty good, but it is inevitable that some rubbish gets through. I know people that use it for thinning high build primer and get away with it as the stuff is much heavier so suffer less although I still don't as I think the saving simply isn't worth it. Appreciate it buddy, thanks again 👍

Smashed it, being down in the panhandle of Florida, I’ve only heard about the big names in spray guns. Only been painting for a few years now, although been around it for much longer. If it wasn’t for the information on this channel, I would have never found this name brand gun. To me these guns are easier to use, and put down a better finish, than my Prolite, and I love that gun. Thank you as always for the information, another Meiji for me to go find,😂. Have a good one, cheers

Hi Bryan, Thanks, mate. To be fair, I was in a similar situation some 3 or 4 years ago, I had heard of them, but they were more or less Japan and Asia only, so I hadn't got any as I presumed it would be complicated 🤔. Turns out it's not complicated at all, so now , having seen how well these are made I have a fair few, far too many really but you can't have too much of a good thing can you 😂. Appreciate the comments buddy, much appreciated 👍

Hi Mate, sorry it's been so long in coming. Hopefully, it was worth the wait. It's a very good spray gun, especially as it works at a relatively low pressure with all the benefits associated with that. I'm certainly glad I got mine when I did as the prices have gone up since, although they are still good value , cheers buddy , thanks for hanging in there 👍

@@peteshobbies5383 one more question pete. It have I pattern or slim oval like finer force type R? Because looks like I patern but im not sure.
@peteshobbies5383
@peteshobbies5383 9 ай бұрын
Hi mate, Meiji call it a tulip pattern. It is a cross between the I and 0 pattern really, it's a good compromise as that sort of pattern tends to make a good all-rounder

Bagaimana pendapat anda tentang perbandingan meiji finer 2 plus dengan meiji f zero tipe c
@peteshobbies5383
@peteshobbies5383 6 ай бұрын
Hi buddy, they are slightly different, both very good, the Type C runs a lower pressure, so less overspray and slower than the F2 Plus

Hi Pete, what do u prefer to work between meiji finer tipe C or iwata kiwami W50 for speed and best result? thanks

Hi Mate, Meiji is a bigger gun, so it is difficult to compare. Both are excellent. If you are using it for bigger jobs, then the Meiji for sure

Hi Pete, mate you are spoiling us with another video so soon but I'm not complaining👏👏 That's an unusual looking gun but I quite like it, I don't own a side cup gun not sure why as it wouldn't bother me providing I can get a PPS adaptor for it😁 anyway it laid the basecoat really will it looked very smooth and even and the clear went on beautifully with a nice flat finish👌as you mentioned it didn't put out much overspray which was surprising seeing how well (fine) it atomised the clear🤔 The price isn't to bad as it's a good quality gun which will last for years, I would be interested to hear your thoughts on the gun regulators (cheater valves) I'm surprised how much battery yours use mate as the one I got is still on it's original battery which I got nearly a year ago, you have seen the ones I use which I really like and they have just released a diaphragm version which I have ordered from the USA so I'll see what that it like. Thanks Pete👍👍
@peteshobbies5383
@peteshobbies5383 9 ай бұрын
Hi John, I like to champion the side cup guns because you really do notice the difference most of the time, so get really hung on the fact and simply rule them out which I just can't understand. Yeah, my digital gauge does use a battery every 5 months on average, having said that they are about £5 for 20 including post and take around 30 seconds to change so no hardship, although your just ready to go paint and it's gone so it's really refreshing to pick the none digital and just get on with it 😂 I will do a video on regulators, I have around 10 different ones, so I can run through the pros and cons and show the benefits of having a diaphragm, etc Cheers mate 👍

I don't know why some people are against the side cup guns maybe they like to keep to what they know but I wouldn't not buy one just because it was a side cup. The batteries are cheap for the gauges so it's not a problem but it is a pain when you are in the middle of your painting and the battery gives out😬🙄 I would be interested in a video about your gauges and the pros and cons for them, looking forward to it mate👍

@JohnWD40TC02 I've not had a battery go while you're using it. What normally happens is it just doesn't come to life when you start, even though it was fine last time you put it away. Thanks, mate 👍

Hi buddy, Finish wise, there is not much in it, but it's difficult to compare the two as one is a full-size gun. The other isn't

Hi Arron, I don't have any ventilators filtering the air in only the air out, this is just two 700mm square boxes made of wood with a 600mm extraction fan inside, these vent outside through 100mm filter media that I buy in rolls
