So many edits about how cool that robber is, but all it took was the right cop, who was smarter than him to take him down.

The robber was a coward p**sy the whole movie

@dion95086 ай бұрын
fam his fingers were shot off, but it does look like a detonator
@DuckNUKEit6 ай бұрын
didnt know that, but technically you only need a thumb to press it, and it looks like he still has his thumb. And before shooting it moves

Henry was so unnecessarily unlikeable, that the way the movie ended bummed out big time. It didn't feel right considering he was the one constantly antagonizing and escalating the situation with Brett.
@NoirOrchestre14 күн бұрын
Agree, very unlikeable guy. Plus, considering Zahler's morality in his movies, it seems like it should have been Brett surviving. Maybe Zahler thought it would be too obvious.

I see mostly positive reviews and praise of this movie. Why didn't it even make 1 million USD worldwide? Was it because of Mel Gibson being ostracized from Hollywood back in the day?
@Hyunny...4 ай бұрын
Chicken and egg. The movie wasn't a flop because of Mel. Mel's mainstream career was ruined so he took a role in a non mainstream film
@SwornSon3 ай бұрын
I think it's a very difficult movie to market to mainstream audiences. I would argue that all of Zahler's movies are like that and he knows it.
@Jon_GraАй бұрын
Might be the ratings, the movie is kinda violent and kind of gorey.

Cellophane, he says it 2 times, first when he gets the gun, second when he tells biscuit they should get "cellophane noodles" as takeout.

This film was great but I felt that out of the last 2 characters, to be a bit spoiler free, the one who lived and the one who died should have been reversed, just to be a little darker
