Just revisited this video and it thrilled me even more! I love your work so much, Mel and it is so lovely to see you with your wife. I too paint on in my 80s but never achieved the truly creative joy of your paintings. Still, we paint on. Your attitude is inspiring - thank you.

Thankyou for posting. I am a new fan. Mel and his work are amazing. I wish I could contact him to let him know how grateful I am to have discovered his art and how much it has changed my thinking and doing when it comes to my own work. Most interesting Art to me, like Mel said, "the painting is already there", isnt that special to make a painting on divination basis, I mean who doesnt know to watch the clouds and see things into it.
