In that purity speech, Robyn didn’t just play the victim, it sounded right on the line of accusing her ex of rape. It made me recoil. I literally felt my body move backward. Not to mention making her children feel like products of that. That speech must’ve done an enormous amount of psychological and emotional damage and it helped Robyn gain that much more control of them. My heart breaks for her kids and I worry for them as adults. It’s going to have an affect on their relationships in the future. It’s abuse. Pure and simple

Janelle’s mom went with her to Wyoming to meet Cody’s parents because she was concerned about Janelle marrying into the AUB because she grew up in LDS and Janiel hit it off with Wynn and I think Janelle said they were actually married before she and Kody got married (she told the story on a podcast)

@@China-Clay only the Salt Lake branch did it. The kids from everywhere would all come to SLC to do the trek together. This is where we would all get to know each other as teens and become friends. The mainstream LDD church does a trek every year. So AUB just started doing it too. The trek I went on was the 1st one the AUB had ever done.
