I also have super thick hair. what I do is section it into 4 quadrants. I take thin sections from one quadrant at a time starting in the back and work my way up. comes out way more even. also use the pick on the other end of the brush to get clean sections!

I would love you see a video where you explain or your hairdresser explains how they cut your hair! I have a really similar wave pattern to you but I haven't been able to find a hairdresser who understands how to do this type of layering for my hair since I was young.

The orange looks so good! I totally understand what you were saying about the pink making you feel more like yourself. That's how I feel about any time my hair is a "crazy" color like that. Your making me want to go back to orange but my hair is red now. I haven't tried pink yet but maybe I should!

I’m not sure honestly my hair just grows quickly I don’t do anything special other than avoiding heat. That helped a ton

Araceli Kekoa I don’t really do anything special I just let them air dry with the rest of my hair because I have naturally wavy hair 😜 so after I get out of the shower I just let all my hair dry however it falls and kind of push my bangs out of my face and they dry that way🤗 and then if I want to wear them down that day, I’ll pull them down and straighten them🖤

Hi again! Road to 8k subsciberss!! I have some questions. So its probably my 5th day using sulfate and silicone free products and instead of getting tighter waves, it getting more stretched out idk if this is normal when starting to go cgm and before when i was using sulfates my curls seemed nicer than now my waves just keeps on getting looser, I also just figured out that the gel i was using had alcohol so im planning to buy the gel you used because my mom actually lets me buy online! Can you give any other styler recommendations? And Any other idea on why my waves are getting looser?

Raleigh Aisha Relevo you could have too much moisture. I’d definitely try the leave in conditioner that I recommend in my refresh routine. It has protein in it and enhances curls 🖤 also, if silicone and sulfate free products don’t end up working for you, go back to your old products. Just use what your hair likes. Don’t feel pressured to switch it up unless you’re unhappy with your routine and current results

I did the dawn dish soap, baking soda, purple shampoo and 20 vol developer mix! Be careful though bc it SEVERELY dried out my hair 😭

Sheila Picton not really just depends on your preference! I’d start with it longer and see how you feel about it and then go shorter if you like it ☺️ I prefer it to be over my brow on myself
