My daughter skated to this in a solo when she was 10 - I couldn't stop crying because my heart was so full of love and pride. Her baby brother was born three months later.

I remember this film I liked so much as it has a believable story. I liked how the girl's boyfriend encourated to try even if she had lost part of her eyesight and how she became a great ice skater again. 41 years after it is still a great film to watch and enjoy.

Patricia Crowell she suffered a stroke in 2011 i think she is ok she underwent heart surgery she is married with 2 or 3 children

One of those beautiful songs theme of a great film which shows clearly what may be attained if there is will to do it. Most of the time most people go lamenting what they cannot do, but never try to do anything. The lesson of this film is: If you really want to get something, try to get it! And try hard, and probably you shall succeed.

This is one song that is really included in my favorite songs and I remember singing this in our band each gigs we have.. A great song, one of the classics..
