At least, this young Lady has the Grit and Stamina to play so darn well in front of a lot of People , Didn't know that she , Melissa Existed , just by pure chance I sailed through this Music and found Melissa playing IL SILENZIO in front of Andre Rieu's Orchestra , solo , then with the whole Orchestra . @madra1997 It's an Eb trumpet for those who do not know. Trumpets are pitched in many keys, although usually only employed by orchestral players. Trumpets are made in A, Bb, C, D, Eb, E, F, G, and Piccolo trumpets in A, Bb, and C.

Hoi Melissa, top gedaan hoor. Persoonlijk ben ik niet zo klassiek gericht maar dit vind ik mooi omdat je het met gevoel brengt. Ook heb ik Silenzio gezien en die is echt vet cool ( is mijn bescheiden mening ). I played the same piece in HS, just not as well. She doesn't seem to be exerting at all and I'm so jealous! Her embouchure is also slightly off center which is unusual for an excellent player. Good luck to her.

Good job with the intonation. The higher trumpets, like the E flat trumpet she is playing, are more difficult to play with all the notes on pitch than B flat or C trumpets.

When this young lady first came on the scene she played Bb trumpet (the family car of the trumpet world). The Haydn is a difficult challenge on Bb, so it is not surprising that she is performing here on an Eb trumpet (one of the sports cars of the trumpet world), and an instrument that is much more agile than the Bb. Since the Haydn is written in the key of Eb, using Eb trumpet gives the player a much easier task placing the piece in C major on the instrument. And, at 14, she plays pretty well.

As for being appropriate shouldnt it be a natural trumpet to be appropriate and everything else is innapropriate :) have you listened to the guy on here that plays the Baroque trumpet, simply amazing! By the way don't misunderstand me this young lady is very, very talented. I'm not attacking her performance at all it is exemplary.
