I definitely am a high protein person but I don't eat more than twice a day as I do intermittent fasting. I have-never felt better and I have more energy and my numbers are great (just had labs completed). It works for me - and it's sustainable as I've been doing this for quite some time. I don't eat junk food or sweets or sodas or anything that isn't healthy as I don't want it. I don't think I have had chocolate since......hmm I don't have a clue. Years. To me sugar is poison. Just an FYI, Collagen protein doesn't count towards your actual protein intake. This isn't a complete protein and doesn't perform the same function as whey protein or protein from food.

A couple eggs is not 27g protein. Typically it would be 6g each for standard size eggs. Js ❤

Just found your channel while looking for some meal ideas and isn't it funny how Canadians can spot Canadians? haha I was watching and was like, I bet she's from Canada (because of the brands you are using) and sure enough, you are! Apparently you aren't supposed to count your collagen towards your daily protein intake. Not sure how accurate that is, but I have seen a bunch of health gurus online mention it.

Hi I'm trying to lose those pesky last 15 pounds (5'3 and went from 118 to 150 during covid) and I started lifting seriously last year but did not change my diet at all because this shit is so overwhelming and I've been vegetarian my whole life so getting protein is TOUGH. when you eat 100g of protein per day is it with the intention of bulking? Would you be able to also share any vegetarian recipes you've found with lots of protein thankssssss

I feel more boring too 😂 but it goes hand-in-hand with taking more care with my body, finances, relationships etc... and like you said! When we're young, we're trying everything for the first time - as we get wiser things are less surprising/exciting. I've never thought it that way, but good perspective.

Loved this video! Also have you ever tried to make cheese sauce out of puréed butternut squash and nutritional yeast and maybe a couple other things (like seasonings)? I have seen a few video recipes but have yet to try it. Might be worth a shot! ❤
