Few months ago : i still dont think vital will replace serum for me Like month ago : so in my soundbank there are 50 vital presers Today : vital is my new by favourite synth

BROOOO Sameeeee,,,, I used to hate the idea of vital and now I'm absolutely in love with it
@zip-taw2 жыл бұрын
Couldn't agree more.
@clockFox0928 күн бұрын
What sucks is serum isn't free, so by switching to vital after having serum, you've lost money ;-; But hay at least the better synth is free lol

I'm taking notes so i will remember what I watched: 0:48 Shift+scroll wheel to move up or down an OCTAVE 1:00 using an envelope+cutoff filter to add "PUNCH"/SOFTNESS to sounds 1:50 using white noise with a short spikey envelope to add "PUNCH" (sounds like a "t" sound) 2:10 using the MATRIX with a short spikey envelope to add "PUNCH" (you can play with the decay nob to make a LAZER FX) 4:30 very helpful way to make unique sounds with basic waves 5:30 use DISTORTION (soft clip) (using drive nob) or COMPRESSION (attack nob) to add volume/thickness of sound 6:30 super cool base sound 🎶 6:40 I still have no idea what that "FM osc 1" nob does 8:54 simple chord preset in 1 minute... I feel dumb.. 9:22 😬 10:10 use the simple chord preset and combine it with the punchy FX to make a lead! 11:05 he's using the matrix to select the "mix" nob of the "delay" AND the "mix" nob of the "reverb" tab in the FX tab. This allows you to make an automation to effect both at the same time with only 1 nob. This isn't nessisarry to do but it can just be helpful in a few situations. It took me a while to figure out what the matrix actually did but I finally understood after watching a few times. 12:01 making a progressive house lead 13:01 making a punchy pluck sound!

for the FM osc1, I'm not sure but I think that makes the operator 2 modulate the carrier (oscillator 1).

Came here looking for actual sound design videos with Vital (as in the sound design profession, not synthesis; I work as a sound designer for video games and interactive media), stuff like granular textures, vocoder stuffs and.. uh.. stuff like that. Stayed because the very fast pace of your tutorial, straight to the point and you just sold Vital for me. Thanks :)
