I used to try to sew it on while folded so I only had to stitch once and that was always a disaster! Once I slowed down and did it this way my projects looked much better.

Can you start on the back side instead? The other (written) tutorial I was trying to follow (and failing to understand at certain key points) said to pin the narrower edge of the bias tape to the back side of the quilt being bound. You showed the narrow side being pinned to the front. If I'm starting on the back, should I repin it so the wider edge of the bias tape is being pinned to the back or should it always be the narrower edge on the side you start sewing on?

Hello Melissa, I'm not really good at doing binding ,thank you for the video I saved it for later when I have a project that needs binding. Do you have a video on blind stitching? I just was at the end of my project yesterday which was a wallet and it needed blind stitching to finish it. It never said it needed any blind stitching at all 😫

I don't understand your question. You curve the curved parts and sew the straight parts straight. If there is a join between a curve and straight part it's either a corner you miter or it's a curve.
