I literally just bought some stretch lace to use for this exact thing last night, so this was perfect timing. Thanks for this! Your tutorials are always amazing.

How do you not have the same problem with the lace getting eaten by the machine when sewing the lace to the fabric when the lace is on the bottom? I tried this last night and had to fight my machine to get the fabric out. The stabilizer works great for sewing the lace to itself, but can you use it for sewing the lace to the fabric when you need to stretch the lace? Id appreciate any advice you can give. I spent a minute sewing and an hour retrieving the fabric from the machine. Thank you so much for your clear and precise videos. They help so much.

Yes, you can use stabilizer under the lace to sew it to the underwear too. It dissolves in water so it's great for that purpose.

Thank you so much for this tutorial! Perfect timing! I bought a sort of grab bag of assorted stretch lace on Etsy from LaceAndTrims. It is from California and the turnaround time for shipping was super fast! I am in my 60’s and am looking for a pantie pattern with more coverage....ideas?

Not sure if you happen to remember what size lace you used for this ? Maybe 1”? I really appreciate the tutorials you make ! I was able to put my first pair of side seam pockets in my circle skirt by following your tutorial and used the free pocket pattern . so thanks for all you do and all the info and free material you offer ! It’s very helpful for newbies like myself !

Yes, this pair is 1 inch lace, but anything from 1/2 inch to 1 inch works
