Did Alison bother to do any research on the client? If she did, she would have known that "pitch" was not a good idea. Then again, Amanda often told her that her work was incomplete. And there was that client Alison lost (was it a cruise line?) because she did no research and just went with an idea that was everything the client did not want.

This s probably why clients should tell advertising agencies what they want to see in their advertisements, rather than the other way around. It would give you a good idea of what they want, and for them to tell you what they don't want. Depending on how many advertisers are employed by the company, they may even get into teams and make it a competition like on "The Apprentice." I know that with my Cerebral Palsy, I would never be good at pitching unless I'm reading a speech from a paper or a computer screen, which lacks professionalism. Otherwise, advertising would definitely be on my "when I grow up" list.
@davidmartin52263 жыл бұрын
Most of the time they do give the outlines but they still hire a company like D&D in order to come up with the creative stuff. Otherwise they would do it themselves. Also I can’t see how they could/would want to mention that kind of personal story.

Two counts of stupidity on Allison’s part: 1) she took the advice of Amanda who had spent years making Allison’s job a living hell and Brooke who only had her job at D&D thanks to Allison herself; 2) she didn’t do her homework on the company D&D was representing.

I think this, but I have no problem at all running a business and he works for. I don’t think that you can. Amanda and look at teaming up together fell, and this client is taking another way out to set Allison up. She has a good business, but this man has no right to interfere when he saying is right or wrong answers to her he can explain to her what’s the situation maybe instead of having him having a meltdown so I mean I’m working up together and ruined her career, what kind of friends Allison have that she doesn’t have any friends I can see why she has a good career but still needs a client that I’m looking for jobs and do you want to best appoint work for Allison has a good potential of working and then she was my client. I will give her a full-time job. Leigh Kenny
