Good fish doesn't need a sauce to dip in. If I want tarter sauce I'll just smear some on a peice of bread and eat it. If you need a sauce then your fish is not very good. I am well known for my fried fish and I always felt insulted when someone dipped it in tarter sauce or ketchup or anything else, don't complicate things just eat the fish and enjoy.

Sounds tasty, if you’ll batter the fish and then let them sit about 15-20 minutes on a wire rack before frying it’ll improve the batter. My father in law also batters his fries before frying and if you put one on top of your head your tongue will beat your brains out trying to get it.

I soak them in milk for a few hours, even over night sometimes. Milk will get all the impurities out and make the fish cleaner. So you want to clean the fillets from that milk. Then I use new milk as the binder! Thanks for watching! God bless

What’s the point of taking the filets out of the milk, dropping them in water and then dipping them back in milk? Can’t you just take it from the original milk bowl and put them in the batter?
@903fishing
@903fishing 6 ай бұрын
Well you want to wash them off after soaking in milk, you want to get those impurities that the milk brought out for the fillets. Thanks for watching! God bless!

why would you waste more milk and time when they are already coming out milk you were soaking them in? perhaps you rinsed them in water ? why bother
@903fishing
@903fishing 2 жыл бұрын
Yes they had been soaking in milk. All those impurities/nasty stuff come out. Why would I want that on my cooked fillets? Rinse that off. No big deal. You could if you wanted too. But I choose to use fresh milk as the binder. Thanks for watching! God bless
