Bear in mind extrusion grade aluminium will be a lot less suitable for casting with, you may find any casting you make with this is weaker than expected

Thank you I’ll bear that in mind I’m not an expert at this I’m still learning and I’m still trying to find the best stuff to cast with. I know zinc is good but it’s finding it as I like to do everything white found, recovered and recycled material. Thank you for watching and commenting 👍

Since you cannot close the lid you should invest in a few iron slats to cover what you can so to minimize the heat loss.

No I don’t I really need to sort out a jig so it easier to stamp them because at the moment I can’t do them neatly
