Great job Rob. Pouring liquid metal has a trick and your getting better at it. I gasped when that drop hit the stone. "Noooooooooo........" lol

Love these Rob! I’m pretty close to getting a set up and trying this out. I have copper and silver and gold collected over the years and have been researching and looking forward to trying my hand at some melts. Thanks for the videos brother.

I just bought an electric furnace and been playing around with melting silver. I made a 10oz super Mario from sand cast. I’m in Plano and would love to learn some tricks of the trade from you.

Looking good! I like having the music playing over the pours instead of silence. It was little loud for my tastes, but that's what volume is for. Also, I got dibs on number bar number 90 if someone hasn't already claimed it...

Harbour Freight has smaller die stamps. Maybe use a small hand hydraulic press for easier stamping with even pressure. I like your coin videos also.

I have a devils forge and enjoy melting silver, gold, copper, brass, and aluminum with it. Do you find that the electric ferrous works better a pouring silver? Thoughts?

What’s the point? Silver in coins are not easily counterfeited and their purity is usually known. By reducing them to ingots or bars their purity would have to tested prior to a sale? Of course if you were making silver bullets for the Lone Ranger the purity wouldn’t be an issue.

I’m pretty sure that’s legal now, but why destroy an actual coin and a piece of history? Generic bullion is the way to go if you wanna melt silver.
