First of all, I love your channel. It brings back fond memories of spending my summers with my grandparents in North Carolina. I love your recipes because I live alone, and I broke my leg. So I need something that I can make that will last me a while because standing for long periods is difficult for me. And these are good, easy, down home cooking, made with❤ recipes. I’m from the Midwest, but your accent reminds me so much of people that meant a lot to me in my life. And, are no longer here. I want to thank you for those of us who struggle in the kitchen and are not very talented cooks. Your recipes are easy, and can be modified for anybody taste or dietary restrictions. I always add the lid on the saucepan when browning ground beef, because the added liquid helps the meat brown without getting hard.

I add 1 can of tomato soup and 1 can of cream of mushroom soup to mine. I also sauté some onions and green peppers along with the ground beef. I will have to try this version. It looks delicious! Love your sweater too by the way, MeMe.

That looks really good! I can't wait to try it. I was a voice major in college and had many years of vocal training, recitals...the whole bit. In my day, you could either get a degree in performance (opera) or teaching. I didn't want to teach and it is very hard to make a living as a performer so I ended up in the medical field and married my husband of 50 years. I did keep up with music via church so all was not lost. I was never a bridesmaid, but I lost count of how many weddings I sang at. I really enjoyed your story about the wedding song. It made me laugh out loud. Thanks for all you do and keep the recipes coming.

I use to make this too but different- my mother Inlaw told me and I made three huge trays of it for my cousins wedding and it was gone fast! But I made it like regular spaghetti with prego spaghetti sauce “ choose the type and flavor you like” in my hamburger I seasoned with salt pepper, diced onions, bell pepper, Italian seasoning and dry Basel, garlic salt and fresh garlic. Once spaghetti done mix it with sauce and meat and I layered the spaghetti like a lasagna with mozzarella, parm cheese, and ricotta. Then baked it. It was delicious!

You are such a blessing to me! Watching your videos fills a void in my life, because both my mom and my mother n law have passed away. You remind me so much of them. I miss being able to sit in the kitchen while they cook and enjoy their conversations over a cup of coffee. I recently started a cooking channel myself simply because it reminds me of the good times I had with my family and I also want to pass down to my daughter the recipes we cook here at our home. One day when Jesus calls me home, my daughter will be able to follow me by watching my videos and recreate a meal I use to cook for her. I would give anything to have a video of my parents cooking in the kitchen so I could recreate some of those great meals we used to have. I actually made this about three days ago, and it's all gone. This one is satisfying, easy, and good--real comfort food. I don't remember whether you mentioned it or not, but leftoevers can be heated up in the microwave with a little added water mixed in to get a second round of yummy spaghetti. ❤❤

I know what you mean about forgetting words while singing! I have been a soloist all my life it seems! Eventually every soloist will forget the words - at least that’s what our choir director told us when I was singing at FBC-Charlotte after it happened to another soloist there. You just have to keep going! Ha! I’m sure you were probably the only one other than the pianist who noticed! 😊 I love spaghetti casserole! And I also prefer Angel Hair pasta! I just don’t care for any “thick” pasta. This looks like such a great recipe I think we’ll have to try it soon! It’s been too long since we’ve had spaghetti casserole! Always enjoy your videos! This looks so good! My brother used to make a spaghetti/ pizza bake. It was spaghetti on the bottom with bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, pepperoni, sausage and mozzarella cheese on top. Or whatever you like on your pizza.I bet it would be great with this recipe
