I tried the Millionaire Spaghetti today. My husband loved it, and so did I! I have to confess that I made a few adjustments, I added onions, carrots and celery and a large bell pepper. I seasoned with some spicy seasonings and lots of garlic. It turned out great. I'll be making it again, I am sure. Thank you for sharing your recipes and your Godly wisdom.

I have been making this for over 20 years and I mix my softened cream cheese, cottage cheese and sour cream together before I add it to the spaghetti. I have never added butter but i am going to try it next time. Everyone loves this casserole.

Please keep my best friend Melody in your prayers, she went to the hospital 2 weeks ago for what we thought was her gall bladder, it was stage 4 colon cancer with multiple spots on her liver and spots on her abdominal cavity! We live in WNC, and she is going to Winston Salem, NC to Baptist next week to meet with her treatment team. She and her husband Brian are our next door neighbors and our best friends! adding salt to the water for the pasta aids the pasta in absorbing the water faster so it boils the pasta faster. When I cook the ground beef, I add a half cup of water to the beef as it browns so it removes the fat from the meat so it drains with less fat stuck on the meat. So, you don't add garlic, onion, and italian seasonings to the cream cheese and sour cream mix? I always thank God for the food we have to eat, and the sellers that sold it to us and the farmers that grew it for us and the truckers that shipped it to our grocery store and all of their families. I made that recipes since in the 70s it was in my Betty Crocker cookbook, called baked spaghetti and it was the layer kind. But in the cream cheese, sour cream and cottage cheese, they had to put bell peppers chopped up in it. It did take a long time to cook probably but it was good.

Really? I had my gall bladder out and I don't have any problems and no food restrictions. You may want to check with your doctor, as it may be a different type of medical issue that needs addressed.

Thsnk you Becky and something I’ve found that adds a lot of flavor in this casserole is to sprinkle a layer of the dry Parmesan cheese out of the container over the spaghetti before you add the Mozzerella. Cheese on then bake it , it’s really a delicious taste as many people use the dried parm on their spaghetti and chili and enjoy the parm flavor !! I hope Alex snd Bsby are doing well !!
