I haven't followed BotW speedrunning at all but I remember when the first DLC came out there was a way to skip out of the shrine of resurrection and skip getting the Sheikah slate and the cutscene that triggers the day/night cycle and thus bloodmoons. Is that still a thing? If it is you could do a very stupid run, let's call it genocide%, where you kill all reachable enemies with limited resources forever because they don't respawn. It'll take forever though.
