We (McDonalds) have both cameras and motion sensors. The sensors tell us when you’re arriving, and the cameras take a picture of the vehicle, so that we know which one has which order. They aren’t faced at the driver, but if the driver has their head out the window, it does get them in the picture.

If you're talking about the lunch program school lunches than yeah those suck, but if your talking about the canteen school lunches that you pay $5-$15 for every day Imma have to disagree, the school lunch program (at least where I'm from) only gave you a snack(usually a fruit) milk or juice, and sandwich. Now the canteen lunches you get whatever was on sale that day like a honeustard chicken wrap, pop(most of it was diet but still) chocolate milk, coffee, salads, pizza on Thursdays or Fridays (depending if it was long weekend or not) and the Daily special which is what the home ec class made that day.

Lots of people either don't realize one or both of those things or think that they'll feel better if they just go about their day as if everything's normal and okay even if it isn't, and while this certainly isn't a healthy way to look at things or to cope with trauma, it is an unfortunately very common one. The point I'm making is that you have no clue what kind of person someone is or what kind of day they're having by just watching a ten second out of context clip of them in a meme compilation, and chances are that there's probably something that happened in their life that not even the person recording them knew about that caused them to have such a visceral reaction to an otherwise innocent prank, so to say that there's no reason that could be valid for such a reaction feels both extreme and naive.

Best example is actually mosquitos, as the false information is shown everywhere saying that they don’t play any role in a ecosystem is fake as they play a big role in pollination as males mosquitoes will pollinate plants. Plus let’s not forget the play a big role as prey for many different species and a predator that kills weak animals and keep population numbers in check.

@@goldentyrant4822 objection: wasps negative pollination rate (they hunt and kill bees, to the point they damage pollination more than help it), they have no natural predator as anything that eats them will likely die or never eat them again, they don't die when they sting you unlike most bees, and they eat both living and rotting meat their only uses is they eat insects that eat crops, however they then eat those crops themselves doesn't help they cannot die to most things, chopping them in half doesn't even kill them mosquitoes are obviously really helpful, especially for feeding bats which have the best fertilizer, but wasps just suck

@@joshgouin1436 well wasps are carnivores they need to hunt and eat. Bees are actually invasive and kill native bees and insects but they don’t get talked about to often. Plus wasp act as a controller of bee populations and also scavenge helping break down a carcass,recycling nutrients back into the soil. Plus wasp definitely have predators it’s just that they don’t raid nests, many bird species will eat wasps. Plus bee stingers are meant to stab through the exoskeletons of other insects not the flesh of big mammals.

For a drive-thru: It depends on the drive-thru. There is a sensor at the menu where you give your order that detects your car and notifies the attendant inside. But others also have a camera that shows the car. 5:07 I know the focus is on the golf club hitting the TV, but I love that Colorado flag in the background. Truly one of the best designed flags. Blue represents the sky, gold represents the state's abundant sunshine, white represents the snowcapped Rockies, and red represents the ruddy Earth. And of course, the big C for Colorado

@Megan Chandler No, but yes. The sensor is actually a weight sensor, not motion, and it's actually placed slightly after the menu, so it can trigger just when your window is in front of the menu. It makes taking a motorcycle or bike difficult because you pull up to the menu and it doesn't actually trigger unless you pull ahead even more.

As someone who works at an Arctic Circle, the headsets are connected to the drive-thru speaker, which will only start transmitting audio to the headsets if the sensor is activated, which happens whenever a car drives up, and then it stops when they pull forward far enough. They most likely have a beam that goes to a receiver somewhere on the side of the building, like for garage doors, and when the beam is broken, it starts transmitting audio. We also have a button we have to specifically press so the customer can hear us, so if we don't press the button after a second or two, it'll beep at us to let us know. So basically, no, there's not cameras. I mean, there are, but we don't specifically look at them to see who's at the drive-thru. If there was a bird, it would still pick up.

about drivethroughs: they don't have a camera. there's a sensor in the drive-through that detects metal. so if you walk through a drive through, they won't know you're there. if you walk through with a bucket or a bike... they do. I used to work drive-through at a wendy's and we may or may not have taken the ice bucket through the drive through to adjust our drive-through times. XD

Yes the drive thru has a camera we can see you(edit we can see the car its not pointed inside the window but if you still your head out we can see you) , second, I think it has a weight sensor or motion detector when a car pulls up we have headsets on that go "ding ding" third, the microphone in the drive thru is sensitive as hell, we can hear your conversations unless your really whisper and even then.

I can answer the camera question about mcdonalds! So there is a motion sensor to say when a car pulls up, and when we put in their order there *is* a camera that takes a picture of the car, but thats it. The reason is since we have 2 drive through lanes, if both finish and pull up, we know which car ordered what food
