Memories by Maroon 5 (Double-Strung Harp Cover 432hz) + Sheet Music

So this year went by like a whirlwind. What a crazy tumultuous year it's been! The first time I heard this song was through a FaceBook post of a brilliantly arranged cover by One Voice Children's Choir ( • Maroon 5 - Memories | ... ). I personally like this version better than the original. I was brought to tears at the message of the song and how beautiful the kids sang it.

This is a song that's full of syncopated rhythms and repeat notes. I originally intended to play this on the floor harp, but ended up recording it on the double strung lap harp for the cleaner ring and I don’t have to worry about muffling my left hand (thanks to higher strung tension). It was a still a challenge to play on the little Ena lap harp since the strings are really close together. Nevertheless, it is a fun song to play on the double strung. Oh, btw, if you feel the song sounds familiar, that’s because the chord progression is exactly the same as Pachelbel’s Canon 😊.

Haha, there are many factors that come into play when deciding on what’s best for you, depending on your intention for use, your tonal quality preference, body type, budget, etc. It’s a pretty big topic. @@charmainemok1675 Thank you! I thought I was done with pedal harps but now I miss having pedals to play more chromatic songs. I still need to change out all the strings and give it a tune up. It feels like the previous owner didn't really play it much and a lot of the strings sound dull. I'll showcase it when I'm happy with the sound 😊.
