The tank here is a Type-95 Ha-Go, which is pretty obvious. However what's interesting is A.the camo pattern, since it's quite unusual, idk if it's because it's faded since it got knocked out or something. And B. The unit itself: the 7th Special Navel Land-Force: Sasebo's tank unit. Which had 14 tanks. (Idk how the unit formation was but it's at least one company worth, since normal army formation company had 12 tanks as full complement. Maybe it's same here with 2 in reserve or it's HQ unit (2) 1st~3rd platoon (4) But Idk, I need to do some research on that. Another awesome video, I love that you keep posting these on KZbin, they really help, especially when you can't get access to them online yourself.

The Japanese you see in a group on the beach were found in a Landing Craft and captured by one Marine I believe. Don't they look pretty clean, their clothes as well. Several of them have on WHITE clothes, you would think if they were in bunkers or caves their clothes would be dirty and grimy.

If I remember my history correctly. The Americans did not anticipate heavy resistance before the invasion.

incorrect, they DID expect heavy resistance as the Nips had plenty of time to fortify. However they miscalculated the ferocity of the fighters. And the unpredictable tide that worked against them.
