I have 2 young kids and a full time job, but whenever I have some free time I can afford to play only ONE game. FFXV @ 120+ hours in and still loving it. Haven't even started with any of the DLC. This game is a true masterpiece for me.

Nice tribute video, mate. FFXV did all it could to achieve greatness within the limits of its tech and timeframe. Too bad we never got the remaining dlc episodes, proper mod support and a hard mode, but the fact that it lived beyond the initial season pass is a miracle in itself. Hope to see your videos soon with the release of VII Remake :)

This was amazing! I had such a blast with this game and all the DLC, dispite how shitty all those patch works where and that the story is crippled through several media. It was a tough love, but in the end, I couldn't say I hated it. I loved it, and dispite all the wait for a conclusion to everything, dispite the shitty DLC practices and patch work story... I loved it! I always will, tough I also can't say that I will ever come back to it either. It took up too much space on my HDD on my PS4, and after it deleted, I got over 120GB of free space back, for other amazing games. Yet, thank you Final Fantasy XV, for everything you did! And thank you, Asetoni, for all those amazing videos you did =)

My only complaint is that they canceled the season 2 dlc. I really hope they change their mind on it and revive it. I don't much care for ff7

This game TRULY set the standard on what an Action RPG and Final Fantasy needs to be! I’ve had so much fun with this game the combat, the world, the music the episodes everything in this game was made from Love. No matter what people say about this because they never understood it this game is a masterpiece and it’s one of the best Final Fantasies in the series.

Thanks for all the great content. I had almost forgotten about it because of all the toxicity that FF fans hold the point that even thinking about it would increase my anxiety. And still does to an extent. But I guess it's only because I loved FFXV that I felt hurt by it. FFXV came to me during complex time in my life and gave me life and hope in it's world that helped me to feel the hope in a world I felt was crashing down around me and it'll always have a place in my heart.

Thank you Final Fantasy Versus XIII, or should I say Final Fantasy XV. I spent my entire childhood waiting for you, dreaming about you, and never looked back since your release in November 2016. Though you hurt me with content locked through various spin offs and other media, long and lengthy patches and DLC, and an incomplete ending with cut promised content, I stuck around all the way through to the very end. And I would not have traded that journey for anything. Even so, I will never forgive Square Enix for cutting this amazing project apart and blue-balling us right when it was about to become complete and epic in scale. Noctis and Luna deserved better. Hell, Tabata deserved better. Despite my personal gripes, thank you FFXV, for sticking with me for over 13 years and becoming one of my favorite games of all time. And thank you Aestoni, for your amazing videos that helped show others that this was more than just a simple, single button press action game. Walk tall, my friends. I will never forget you or the Chocobros!

It was a good journey. Maybe left incomplete. But it changed final fantasy and square enix. And the memories as well ,flying regalia ,the ring powers, warping, armiger unleashed, comrades. It was a long journey and the best part that changed gaming prompto selfies.🙂

I can say without a doubt your videos helped me enjoy the game so much, before I found them I was enjoying myself but I had a lot of complaints and general confusion. But your weapon and mechanics tutorials really helped me dig into the combat, they were so much better than the in-game tutorials. I mean gosh I didn't even really understand directional input for doing different attacks because the game mentioned it like one time in a random tutorial. The game really didn't do a great job at explaining itself unfortunately. I think by the end I put over 300 hours into the game between the main story and comrades and there is no way I'd kept going for that long if not for you showing off how you could have fun with the systems in the game.

Just a couple more updates and the rest of the dlcs was all I was hoping for. No matter how bad people say it is. No matter it's flaws. I loved this game. I remember pre ordering it and being so excited for this game.

Not gonna lie I kinda expected a Comrades clip or an Ardyn clip after the ones with the Chocobros lol, oh well! Having it focus on the main 4 is definitely fitting and good nonetheless. This vid reminds me of all the good times I had playing this game. No matter all the jank, it's still a game I remember fondly, and it pulled me out of a real rough spot in my life. I'm glad I've stuck with it ever since launch, I've met so many friends and lived many great moments thanks to this weird lil' game and I can't possibly imagine life without it at this point. I do hope though that FFXV doesn't just become a "memory". I want it to be more than that. Community is what helps something (especially different pieces of media) live on through the ages. Even if we'll most likely not get much FFXV content after the novel, I hope we can stand by each other (heh) and keep on keeping on. For Hearth and Home! (PS: GOD I gotta play more of this game again, cause some of those combat clips are making me wanna go apeshit in-game with different builds. Maybe once I finally finish Nioh...)

This video was great! A lot of people are still pretty bitter about this game and what it could have been, but I think it's more important to think back and remember all the ideas that were executed perfectly. Also, out of curiosity, what did you think of wait mode? Or at least, how do you think they should have gone about adding a more "tactical" mode?

I am very much indifferent towards Wait Mode. It really feels unnecessary, because the game already has phasing as a way of giving you a breather and time to think a strategy in the middle of a chaotic fight, but still coming with a finite MP pool that depletes if you use it too much. It's a much more organic and visually pleasing system than Wait Mode, while being an equivalent mechanic. It feels like Wait Mode was just a last minute inclusion to respond to fan concerns about the game "not being strategic enough due to being an action RPG." As for how I'd add a "tactical mode", I really just wouldn't. Action games are action games, trying to please everybody has never worked, it's much better to have a focus when designing a combat system. FFXV is an action RPG. Yes, it's in a series full of turn based RPGs, and that's unfortunate for those who love turn based games, by I don't think a tacked on system to an action RPG is anything that they're looking for.

Goodbye and good riddance to one of the most mediocre and disappointing games of this gen, with gameplay and action combat so bare bones and atrocious that games such as kh2 and God of war 1 have far superior combat systems despite them being 10-15 years older. Goodbye to a horrendous story that was so all over the place that they needed dlc to fix it and they still couldn't do so. goodbye to one of the most overrated, overhyped, mediocre games in history, you will not be missed. It honestly pisses me off that works of art like persona 5 and Nier Automata which are supreme titles of not only this console generation but rpgs/action rpgs in general, that truly show what a true rpg/arpg should be like, were overlooked and didn't get the sales and coverage they deserve because of this shitty game.
