I bought a candle from Pier 1 about 4 years ago and it smells EXACTLY like Cashmere Plum. They discontinued it. It’s my absolute favorite. It was called Sugar Plum. I thought I would never smell something as beautiful as it, then I found Cashmere Plum!!! Thank GOD for CS!!!

I'm good with blends. I mix all my fragrances. I just got back into making candles again since late January. I started making them back in 2015 and sold a good amount and one brand that started around my time was Otherland and they have deff grown. I learned making fragrance combos specially cause I worked along Le Labo. I need to join the youtube world too give some knowledge. Good stuff though 👍.

Omg i tried coffee house and it’s too caramel-y for me! It’s so hard to find a true coffee scent, the espresso scent that everyone was recommending from Bramble berry made me so sick LOL

Has anyone ever had a problem getting a sort of bitter scent with the Fruit Loops when it burns in a candle? It works SO GOOD in the melts I made, holy cow my office smells amazing, but the candle I made smells like really chemical lemon and not any of the other notes are detectable. I've read that sometimes citrus fragrance oils experience this problem, and I'd really love to sell candles in this scent. I'm testing, of course (I bought a whole 16oz bottle so I've got plenty to test with) but if anybody has some direction to point me in I'd be grateful. For this candle I used the ParaSoy 600 you get from The Flaming Candle, 6oz at 8%, and it had cured for 24 hours.

You crack me up! "You all know you've done it!" (ordering 16 oz. instead of the small 2 or 4 ounce). Guilty! I really enjoyed this video because you have a lot of the same scents or even scent profiles that I do, but I use the same suppliers (and more). FO's are so expensive sometimes and that is usually where we all go insane until before you know it, you have 100 different scents and no wax or wicks! LOL! I used to make soap and candles and soaping was fun, but too much work for one person. Candle making is a little more Zen for me, LOL! Thank you for sharing, I am really enjoying your channel!

I have Fruit Loops on the way already, lol, and Honeysuckle Jasmine was in my first batch of 1oz testers and the first one to actually leak in the box cause the lid kinda twisted off a little in shipping. I have White Sage and Lavender in my selection of scents cause a friend of mine uses it in her candles. The rest I had seen and thought about, I'll check them out a little later but I have a new batch of 32-1oz scents from The Flaming Candle. on their way, lol. I'm really excited about two of them, I forget the name offhand, but one is like Woodland Foliage and the other is like Woodland Forest. I've been working mainly with Candle Science, but I about jumped when I saw fresh cut grass in the Flaming Candle cause I'd been talking about a Men's Scent line for a while and that was always the first one I thought of. I usually always mix the scent specifically for the customer as a custom scented candle creator. I see each scent as a different color on my pallet to paint a scented picture specific to the mood I'm going for. The moving segment of the process is definitely a large chunk of the process and it's a toss-up what the throws are gonna be like, but I mix a small tester batch initially to get the proportions right before going big. It's hot out miss, but I love scented candles, do I always have a ready supply on hand whenever I want one 💚 Your videos have definitely the one of the prime sources of information for how I go about the process and your calculations videos have been priceless in getting me where I am today 💚💚💚 I work mainly with beeswax and have been pushing the limits on percentage and haven't found a limit yet. Word of warning though, as volatile as Eucalyptus is, be careful how much you put in our you'll hot that flash point and the whole candle will go up 😅😅😅

I’m probably the odd one out here but I’m not a fan of cashmere plum! I LOVED it in the bottle, but sadly wasn’t impressed with the HT. I really don’t want to give up on it yet but I have other scents that definitely take the cake over cashmere plum. I also feel the same about honeysuckle Jasmine! It’s one of my most popular scents but it just gives me a headache when I burn it.

Love fragrance reviews! You do such an awesome job at describing scents! Cashmere Plum is one I enjoyed making as well and I honestly think you should relaunch it in a luxury line. I've heard other experiences/successful candle makers who have done that when it's been a best seller. A sent I favor a little mOre than Cashmere Plum and feel it fits with luxe line is Black Amber & Plum Honestly such a beautiful fragrance and so good in Soy 10.

I actually used the Black Amber in the 8 oz black tins from Cal Candle using the combo you share in another video Soy 10 + TW Tart wax and the hot and cold throw was wonderful and my test burn was at a 2 week cure! I want to try wax melts next. I was bummed out cause I actually spilled my 1oz sample so I only had enough left to pick one item to make. 🤦‍♀️
