Thank you so much for the comment, wasn’t sure if the maps were that useful but I thought it gave a bit of perspective on how compact and easy it is to walk around. Sounds like they are useful 😊

@@MemorySeekers I plan to go to Gdansk in the summer. On the map, everything is nice to see, where and how. Smooth transition from video to location on the map gives a nice idea of the location of the objects shown in the movie

I’m delighted you’ve enjoyed my city. If you do come back, do so in summer. For a change, an idea could be finding out street art in my neighbourhood called Zaspa, then you could hire a bike and ride it through the massive revamped coastal park from Bzezno to Sopot. An other idea could be a day trip on a boat to Hel, a very picturesque fishing village with an amazing beach, a well known spot among the Poles, but pretty much undiscovered by foreigners as of yet. Also, a much shorted boat trip is worth doing too to Westerplatte, where there’re Polish bunckers attacked by Shleswig Holstein at the spark of WW2. On the way through the river Motlava you’ll see the famous Gdansk shipyards. Cheers.

Hey, thanks for your comment and suggestions. We love Gdańsk, such a cool city. We would like to go to Hel but like you say, I think summer is best. Next time we visit we will be sure to check out the street art in Zaspa too. Thanks again!

Loved this video, especially as I’m hoping to be in Gdańsk next year at about this time! Looks like you had stunning weather. Just for interest, do you think the amber is cheaper in Sopot compared to in Gdańsk? Any hidden gems you’d recommend please? Happy travels. Stay safe, Cheers, Marg
@MemorySeekers
@MemorySeekers 3 жыл бұрын
Hello Marg I would think the cost of amber is probably the same in both places as they are equally touristic. I think we covered most of the hidden gems we know about over the 3 videos we made on the area. I am sure there are more to find. We loved it there, hope you do too! All the best.

@@MemorySeekers great thank you. Yes, I thought that would be most likely the case! My best friend loves it so I’ll probably get her something while I’m there! Thanks yeah, I’m sure I’ll adore it too! Cheers, have fun, Marg

Nice film, but I noticed one of you was eating with his hat on. In Poland it's frowned upon to enter a building and not remove your hat, if you're a man. It shows your goodwill and respect toward the host and it is a sign of good manners. It's a sign of suplicancy toward God when entering a church. It is a Polish thing, but if you want to be accepted and not to be treated as ignorant foreigner, please remember about it when in Poland, can be handy 😎

We enjoy your videos. On this one we find the music too loud and annoying. If we make the music quieter we can't hear you speak. Sorry to complain cause we usually enjoy your videos
@MemorySeekers
@MemorySeekers 2 жыл бұрын
Yes thats fine our earlier videos do have louder music as we have got more used to making videos we have been able to better present and control the music. Sorry about that.
