I have to say one more thing - Billy, it seems to me that a lot of the times when you are telling your stories, even though you're telling something funny - you seem to get choked up. It's as if your'e right on the verge of breaking down and crying. I have to say that it gets to me when I hear your voice change like it does when this occurs. I don't know you from Adam but I know that I like you. So thank you very much for you guys doing this. For a life long fan like me and I am sure to others as well, it is such a tremendous GIFT that you people are giving to us by sharing your life stories you experienced with Elvis and his family. God bless you all.....

My wife and myself visited Graceland in 1984 and we got to meet Richard Davis, George Klein, Charlie Hodge and Elvis' uncle Vester Presley. They were all wonderful people. We also visited Tupelo, Elvis birthplace and got to meet Colonel Tom Parker and he treated us wonderful. He was a genuine person. We also got to meet Ricky Nelson. He was my No.2 favorite singer next to Elvis. What a wonderful meeting. By the way, we are from Malaysia, S.E. Asia. ELVIS will forever lives in our hearts! Two Thumbs Up!

Alan was the first to go and unfortunately many left the house in the last couple of years. Marty was a clever guy and very sensitive too despite his 'dry sense of humor'. I miss them all: Charlie, Lamar, Red, Sonny, Richard, Dr. Nick, Joe, Sheila... So sad. But thank God we still have you!

My goodness, y'all have so many memories of the life time with Elvis, I am going to just say, y'all have me crying a bit just seeing the love and how much all of you have for Elvis, I can hear the love in the stories and really do see it in your eyes... Y'ALL are just precious and nobody else can tell the stories like y'all do, Can't get any closer than you guys... I just enjoy watching and listening to all the things you all can tell, PS: When y'all can, tell the information on how to order the shirts y'all have come up with, I'm sure after Elvis week y'all may be running behind, but, that's fine, y'all may need to print out some sweat shirts or hoodies, and jogging pants too.... Lord, listen to me telling y'all how to do, no I'm just saying, I would like wearing them, hope your Moma is doing good, and may the Lord bless you all, in Jesus name amen ✝️🕊️👼🙏💕💙🎼😎⚡😇🎼

@gassbaggerwoods59553 жыл бұрын
There's only you and Jerry shilling left i think and Larry still going some may say Larry wasn't but really the MM were men/woman Elvis had close to him in his Circle The "Memphis Mafia" was the group of friends, associates, employees and cousins whose main functions were to accompany, protect, and serve Elvis from the beginning of his career in 1954 until his death in 1977. So i would include as would Elvis Larry Geller, he served Elvis being his hair stylist. Billy, you know i think it would be great for you to write a book of all your memories of the good times you had growing up with Elvis. the comments are full to bursting of people who can't get enough when your videos end i pine, i really do i can't wait for the next video. You don't know how much we really appreciate you and your family . You endear us to Elvis i feel more closer to him than ever hearing stories that we would not get anywhere else no one knew him like you.I would love to sit and read pages & pages and would be first in the Queue if i knew you were writing one you would sell an ENORMOUS amount of books can you imagine EVERYBODY will want one you are the only one that can tell these stories. and the beauty of your book it would be all True. And oh so funny sometimes your stories give me a headache. And that's a good thing because i laugh so hard you make the stories so interesting you are a great story teller and i love the way you light up when you talk about him can see you really loved him Elvis was such a character . Thanks to you billy & Family. To the smith Family Hip Hip

Thank you so much! Love hearing these stories about the people closest to Elvis. I know its been said many times about how Billy’s eyes light up to tell about the memories he has inside, & they do! Ya know, the WW2 era has gained the well coined phrase of being called, “The Greatest Generation”, & I will have to agree, after I have sat & listened to many many stories of that courageous generation. However, I do believe that, especially in the South, that the greatest passed on some of the heroics, love, laughter, & Love of Family to their sons & daughters, that still lingers on in their children. The “Yes Sirs, No ma’ams”, & the kindness, generosity that we saw in Elvis & most of his closest. I sure hope this makes sense, I see it in Billy & Jo. Watching them tell of silly private moments, just harmless fun antics. To me personally, it makes me reminisce of listening to my beloved Grandfather. I could have listened to him all day. Thank you all for sharing your lives with us. There are people out here just like me, enjoying every minute of it. You may never know what this truly means to us. I can only hope that some of the notes you get like this one, convince you. Sincerely, thank you for the smiles. Bless you all.

One of my absolute favourite books about Elvis is the one by Alan Fortas, From Memphis to Hollywood. He made me laugh and cry and I keep going back to reread parts of it. Alanna Nash wrote it with him, and she told me on her fb page that he was the sweetest guy ever. Reading that book I felt as if I knew him, and I certainly knew how he felt, being with Elvis.
