He was always especially close to Billy and Jo in my opinion. He grew up with Billy. When Billy married Jo he found out that Jo could be trusted like his own sister. So he spent time with y’all cause he loved y’all so much and wanted to be with those he loved and trusted.

Great honesty without putting him down. It was his natural behavior. He was raised with a double standard as normal.

If Gladys could have lived throughout Elvis’s career, do u Billy & Jo think with his Mother’s Guidance, would Elvis had of had all the Women that he had and do U think he would have had all the pills and lead his life the way he did? Or do U think he would have had a Wife and Family as most people do. I love u for all the things u do for us. God Bless U and Yr Family.❤

Billy and Jo 'you are' the historical record, the more of these stories you tell the more will be remembered yet another 50 years from now so please keep telling them and as often as you can. Personally I love to hear more about the little and big things Elvis did and kindness for people, for instance Billy I loved the story you told about the man with the broken down pick-up truck that was loaded with wood that Elvis tried to push start with his limo before buying the man a new truck, those kind of stories no one would ever have known about if it wasn't for you both. Godspeed to both of you.

So nice to hear about personal likes and dislikes Elvis had. Makes him feel so real to all his fans. We are so used to seeing and hearing about Elvis and the Colonel and his professional life which makes Elvis seem untouchable and unreachable to anybody outside of his close family circle. We all would have loved to have known Elvis as a warm, loving Southern boy and gentleman as he matured. These stories make Elvis real, and not a dream come true because of his amazing God given, unbelievable, good looks and unmatched extraordinary talent. Thanks again for sharing family memories of the forever king of rock and roll and of the hearts of his faithful fans❣👍

It’s too bad Elvis was forced to marry. He knew he wasn’t planning to marry, I heard him say it in an interview when he was 27-28, and Priscilla was living at Graceland. But then, Priscilla, her parents, and the Colonel forced it. As the Smiths said, he loved ALL women and was not the marrying kind as he told them. His career came FIRST.

Thank you Billy and Jo! I knew in my heart everything you talked about! Elvis had love for every woman he was with. You can do that without it being a lasting love. Elvis was Not meant to be married, but he had a need for a woman's companionship. All of the relationships he had with women weren't sexual, he liked intelligent conversations and I would guess the comfort from cuddling as well. He wasn't a playboy that didn't care about the women he was with. He treated them all like queens while he was with them I know it's true from the videos I've seen and articles I've read from several of the women that had been with him! Elvis was a very complicated man, that you just can't put into any category. So happy to see y'all looking healthy, and happy you're back. You've been missed! Danielle please take care of yourself and don't overdo or it'll drag on and you immune system will suffer. Love every one of you!

Listening to you billy and jo and watching your faces as the past is brought back up, it’s quite mesmerising to see. What I’m trying to explain is this…. It’s plain to see the effect of Elvis passing has had on you both, but what is most obvious to see and feel is that it’s almost like time has stood still for you both . Hard to believe Elvis passed away 45 years ago. Your still feeling it like it was yesterday. He was very lucky to have you both, especially those final hours. On a side note, I was born In the May of 77, born into a family of fanatics. Mum dropped me off her lap ( feeding me my bottle ) when the newsflash came on TV. She was hysterical, as was the rest of the world.🙈if I don’t make it before, I’m hoping to visit Graceland for my 50th birthday in 2027. I just have to experience it. Keep telling us your stories, it’s captivating, and helps to keep his memory alive. Thank you both 👑💙❤️🥰

"Dropped you off her lap while she was bottlefeeding you when she heard Elvis died - LOL! Oh I know it wouldn't have been funny at the time, but reading it now made me laugh😳. I reckon somebody could write a book of all the stories about what people were doing when they heard Elvis had died. I was with my boyfriend staying at his friend's house interstate, and we woke up in the morning to hear Elvis music playing non stop on the radio. I remember thinking that's strange, it isn't Elvis' birthday. Then my boyfriend's mate yelled out from the kitchen "The King is dead!" We shot out of bed and ran into the kitchen, and waited to hear more details.
