I love that one of the first things you pointed out was the mix and the tones. This mix was done by their own guitarist Kellen McGregor who over the last few years has really honed in on his production skills. It shows on these singles no doubt. If you want the best Memphis may fire album to put on repeat then you’ve gotta hear “challenger”. My friend Anthony sepe joined the band by that point and I bought the album just to help him out and ended up never putting it down. The epilepsy warning is nice to see. I've also seen on rare occasions content warnings for certain triggering topics - not common in the metal scene but in other forms of content discussions of suicide and other such things. I was introduced to the band just 2 years ago by a close friend. They have some amazing tones, clean vocals. Very typical of them. The first song I was introduced to was "The Sinner." For some reason when I hear it I think about Minecraft - just a weird brain association. When you said 2006 that really sounded about right to me. Of Mice and Men, Architects, Bring Me The Horizon, Polaris. In my mind they all very well fit together.
@Dreveryn3 жыл бұрын
I'm a huge MMF fan. Their song "Prove Me Right" is a nice middle finger to their old label which is fun. "That's Just Life" has gotten me through some of the deepest depression in my life and the last scene in the MV makes me break down and cry almost every time. I actually ended up in their "Sever the Ties" MV they recorded a few live shows and one was in St. Louis. edit: adding after you said it, they were with blessthefall and Sylar lol
