I mean in all fairness Memphis May Fire does make pretty mainstream metal songs, kinda like wage war. Bands that are more interesting I'd say are STARSET, Sleep Token, Sleep Theory, Bring Me The Horizon, Motionless in White. Those are just a few that I personally like.

Because there's barely any profit in metal. Majority of bands that aren't signed to Fearless, RIse, Concord, Hopeless or SBG don't have the money to worry about creating something unique to satisfy "metal" fans when it barely gets them any play. Just look at Unprocessed, they should be bigger than they are right now if we're talking about unique, creativity and still making bangers but they dont get the plays. Vitja didn't get their plays either. Of Machines was a good band- didnt get the plays. In Fear and In Faith was really unique and good: didn't get the plays. The Sound Of Animals Fighting- No plays. Wolf & bear. List goes on and on. I feel the sentiment but metal fans can only blame themselves for not supporting bands.

Solid, this song has everything a listener could want! I’m often befuddled how this art and brilliance never makes it into the mainstream light…while Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift and The Weekend are all over the social media. IMO, Memphis May Fire is a self made band that continues to defy the boundaries of sound and create ear candy that cannot be matched by the most popular artists. MMF, I applaud you!👏
