I like how when the line "I can feel her staring at me" comes up at 3:08 it sort of fits the image of the artwork character fading with the eyes still very visible like it's staring at you. Very cool, i got a chill.

His wife is gorgeous, and they seem so happy! Yesterday at warped he made a speech about how a lot of women don't have any self respect and don't keep in mind he's a married man before singing this song, I thought he was so right. He really cares about his wife so much, thats adorable :)

I like the message in this song. It's not slut shaming. If someone feels like they're being "slut shamed" it's called coming under conviction. It means what you're doing is wrong and you know it. You just get defensive and label them as the bad guys for making you feel bad about what you've done. And before you go all feminist on me, think about this. If a woman wrote a song about men falling all over her and she was annoyed by it and the song made men out to be these terrible human beings, you would have absolutely no problem with it. Stop with the double standards ladies. We men have a lot more respect for you than you realize. And I also realize that people have other opinions on the matter so if you're up for a MATURE conversation pleases share your thoughts :)

From Wikipedia "According to the biblical accounts, Jezebel incited her husband King Ahab to abandon the worship of Yahweh and encourage worship of the deities Baal and Asherah instead. Jezebel is said to have persecuted the prophets of Yahweh, and to have fabricated false evidence of blasphemy against an innocent landowner who refused to sell his property to King Ahab, causing the landowner to be put to death. For these transgressions against the God and people of Israel, the Bible relates, Jezebel met a gruesome death - thrown out of a window by members of her own court retinue, and the flesh of her corpse eaten by stray dogs"

does anyone on here realize that this son is called jezebel! not whore?!?!? 2 completely different meanings!!! a jezebel is a temptress! a whore is someone who gets paid for sex? ones a business and one is greed and vanity
@majickalproductions11 жыл бұрын
stop trying to cover Matty's back, he's basically slut shaming. and a whore is someone who uses self-exploitation to get something. so it could be for money, but also for vanity, attention, etc. It's cool and all that Matty wont fuck some chick at the bar, which i would expect seeing as he's married, but he doesnt have to shame her or shit his Christian morals all over her. He's no better than someone just because she has consensual sex on a regular basis with different men, which by the way there is nothing wrong with that. human beings like to fuck. another perspective: im a vegetarian, so i believe it is wrong to kill animals for meat, clothing, etc. however, im not gonna shame a person for eating meat. their diet is their business and not mine. and vice-versa. another persons sex life is none of matty's business.

this song talks about girls who act whorish towards him.. knowing he's married. he calls it a disease, i take it as him saying a "moral disease" (not an actual disease) girls trying to get with a married man? will you be OK with it if some girl tried to get with your husband because hes "hot"? he even questions it, "Was it the way she was raised or just the terrible choices she's chosen to make?" now, lets dig deeper into the song, is he referring to all women? what? he said all women are whores? nope, only the women who act whorish towards them, read this : "she doesn't know is that to us she's just another one of them". so from that and what matty has said, the whole band tries to stay clean on immoral stuff, so this is really about the band in general, need more lyrical proof? here : "but what she doesn't know is everyone just wants her to leave!" hint : "everyone". and if you want to go even more deeper...Jezebel is a biblical character, dun, dun dun....
