Damn right nerd music!!!! You almost have to have uneducated ear and one hell of an internal clock to enjoy listening to this kind of thing, let alone playing it. they’re very few musicians out there that are these guys ages that are playing this caliber up there with Chick RIP, and the Electric band and others in that same ballpark. These guys are gonna be killing it like crazy at the blue note in New York and Japan if they haven’t already and Lord knows they’ll be on a different level in their 50s and 60s as they age together. So tight, so fluid… The hours of rehearsal is obvious, but so is the chemistry. And thank God, you can’t twerk to it for a change. Frank Zappa would be proud.

Tight! I can hear all the trombone and trumpet parts that aren’t there but definitely belong there lol not having them doesn’t make it bad, but having them, would definitely make it better! Get a couple bad to the bone horn players to support the saxes and you really have something that’s not just special, but extra special!
