The world doesn't care when an american wins. The rest of you should look at every american as an individual. We are not just some powerhouse where things are automatic. Each winner had to do all the things required of a champion. American track and field is not even popular in the states. But it is still a very serious sport within. Ridiculous amounts of time are spent every year all across our country. The champions we produce are people that made it happen. It's not just money. It's a winning culture and tradition of hard work and dedication on an insane level. Look up NAU training. We have universities no one cares about that are able to compete with and beat all the rest of the world. Cole Hocker? Oregon? I knew he would win the 1500. 1 american college kid beat all of the world. Embrace american exceptionalism. It's not a fluke,
