Can you braid after washing the hair when it’s still damp?

Can you do a video on how you start the braid. I notice your hands hold the hair differently for the first few then you switch your hands. I hold my hands as you do even the at the start of the braid and I notice it’s not as tight, and it doesn’t start braid in the middle of the box, more at the bottom. I need some help 🥰🥰🥰. I’m also having troubles with ends. If one strand is shorter towards bottom I have to stop broad early and the bands are higher up with hair poking out bottom of rubber band. Please help. I can’t find videos that go over my issues.
