Dads should have the right to see their kids as much as the mom.

THANK You for sharing this information. I am not sure how to process having your kids or seeing them a couple times a week or not having any access to your children for 11 plus years. Both scenarios are grief filled and painful. At one time in my Journey, I was actually Jealous of dad's who have access to their children, I had to detach From such parents to actually heal, by getting my mind accustomed to my reality. That Earthquake that just happened is exactly what Children and their Dads experiences, by the family Court system, Parental Alienation and dysfunctional divorces. Lots of great teaching points in this video.

I feel devastated as I am on the precipice of experiencing and going through all of this. I am utterly terrified for my son to experience trauma and emotional chaos for the rest of his life as a result of a divorce / separation. I want him the absolute best in every single aspect of life, I have heard succeeds stories for children coming from divorced parents, and horror stories. I am embarrassed and ashamed that this is what it has come down to, and don’t know how I can survive it either emotionally.

What i struggle with is, when you ask who are you? because i understand that life comes in stages and when you become a dad, then that's who you are, a father, and if you are still married you are a husband. Maybe if i'm divorced then i'm not a husband anymore but i'm still a father. i do not know if i am clear on that.

Hi there Rachael, I loved the video and the format. Who am I ? Is my new favourite question. The Dear Rachael letter format is great. Keep those coming !

Thanks Cathy!! I did this one "Dear Rachael" video and then kind of forgot about it... I'll have to do some more.

I firmly believe that divorce is not the solution to marital problems. My wife and I have been experiencing challenges in our relationship, but I was determined to find a way to overcome them. After seeking guidance from a spiritual adviser, we began working through our issues and strengthening our communication. I was resolute that our 18-year marriage would not come to an end without a fight. With the right support and mindset, we are now on a path towards healing, growth, and a deeper connection.
