What are your thoughts on EMDR? Is it typically successful in combatting anxiety and relationship traumas that could cause hurdles in dating?
@RachaelSloanRelationshipCoach5 күн бұрын
Great question! EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) has shown to be effective for many people in addressing anxiety and past relationship traumas. It helps process and reframe painful memories, which can be incredibly helpful in overcoming emotional hurdles that might be affecting your dating life. Many individuals report significant relief from anxiety and emotional triggers after EMDR therapy, which can definitely support healing as you move forward in relationships. If you’re dealing with trauma or anxiety and would like more personalized guidance on navigating dating after divorce, I encourage you to join my free masterclass. The only checklist a man needs to have contains three items. The title of the checklist should be: "What the woman really wants". The three items are money, alimony, and child support. They may even want all three.

I'm curious about the part where you talk about being able to take criticism with an attitude of curiosity about what the other is feeling. I just recently had an upsetting mini fight with my ex, and when we talked it through later she said something very similar about what I could do in those situations. I want to learn this. Do you have other videos about this?

Best suggestion - DON’T!!! Why try repeating something that failed last time?

I will never date a man again who hasn't been divorced for at least 2 years minimum. I dated a man that had only been divorced for a year because he kept bugging me to go out and then when I finally did I found out he was basically just serial dating people for roughly 2 months at a time. When anything starts to get serious with him, he bolts on to the next woman because he has to have that dopamine hit. He's a super nice guy, but he has done absolutely no work on himself. I personally wouldn't have gone out with him if I had known his track record ahead of time.
