Your comment is a bit more constructive than the past ones 👍 so kudos Technique-wise, I might agree that Smoothie Q can work on his returns but probably more so on his serves. However, you and I both know that a player’s technical elegance doesn’t define his or her ntrp or usta rating. (It does help tho) You seem like a youtube tennis fan so you probably know the infamous “MEP” from TennisTroll channel. MEP just knows how to win in the 4.5 level and I believe Smoothie Q is similar in that aspect. I don’t think Smoothie Q’s style is that crazy of an outlier but you probably understand my point. But like you said, to reach a higher level, Smoothie Q can develop those qualities. Smoothie Q also played varsity but had a shoulder surgery to my knowledge... which explains the serve 😢
