This. Here’s the reality - men will 🔩 the family dog. That’s why you hear stories from conventionally unattractive women about how they’re getting action all the time. A woman’s attractiveness only matters when he’s trying to get validation from OTHER MEN. If he knows that he doesn’t qualify for an attractive woman, he’ll try to put her down so it affects her self esteem and she’ll accept a man at his low level (when she can actually get a higher-level man). If he was just looking for a “smash and dash on the DL”, he wouldn’t care about how she looks, as long as he can get that 🐱 easy and with little to no effort.

Not even close. I'm slightly above average and I wouldn't give him a second glance and I do date people that match me in attractiveness. Something I've noticed is that every guy who has ever called me ugly or made negative comments about my appearance has been extremely unattractive. I have a daughter who is gorgeous, gorgeous, she is the most beautiful little girl I have ever seen, little boys often tell her she's ugly and I told her she is so beautiful and that's exactly why these little boys call her ugly because they know she is beautiful and she would never be interested in them and so they lash out at her and call her ugly because they feel bad about themselves and they think putting her down will make them feel better but it doesn't...it gives them a temporary feeling of superiority but the next time they see a mirror they feel bad again.

Men being toxic online has rly transitioned to them being ruthless in-person. Recently, I was involved in a car accident. I was merging and the guy didn’t want me in front, so he accelerated and sped just for me to not merge, however I had already merged, so what did he do? He literally hit the side of my car and tried to get me into an accident. When we pulled over, I noticed only MEN coming to help HIM. Mind you, he’s the one that hit me and tried flipping my car with my dogs inside. There were about 6 men that just talked to him and asked if he was ok, but totally ignored me and kept making rude expressions towards me. Also one of them said, “f**king women”. I made sure my car was locked the entire time and when they left, I just started bawling. I couldn’t believe he hit me and tried to get me into a bigger accident. However, only the men went to him and asked if he was fine, when his car had no scratches or anything. My poor car was left with a big bump on the side, tire marks, scratches, and his truck’s paint to forever remind me of this incident. Then, when I told my bf’s male friends about this, they didn’t believe me and got all weird with me. I’m honestly scared to drive now because it’s mostly men road raging and then blaming everyone else and murmuring “women” under their breaths

You are totally right. That's the reality we live in and I've been experiencing lots of male aggression recently including verbal and threats of physical. Probably the only man who could care about you would have to be one who's immediately related like your father, husband, Boyfriend. Because men are territorial they won't defend you because they want to protect you or thats the right thing to do. I've been noticing this men brotherhood a lot lately. You just gave me another more extreme example. They help each other out even if they don't know each other wow, and infuriates me that among women this doesn't exist usually, even if they're close friends, on the contrary there's a lot of envy, betrayal etc. I don't have friends, and I continue being betrayed with the ones I try a friendship with. The only thing I can do atm to help other women is to seek and help other women businesses, like going to only female medical doctors, psychologists, etc also because they're usually better than the men who provide the same services

It is a bit intimidating, first crash I got into was because a man was aggressively tailgating me at night a couple weeks after I passed my test. I sped up out of fear but was going too fast for the road and my ability at the time and sailed over a junction into a lamppost. He drove off but another nice man stopped and stayed with me a while to make sure I wasn’t in shock. My fault, absolutely. But would it have happened if I wasn’t being tailgated? No. Obviously I slow to a crawl now if someone does the same thing and they can have the risk of overtaking me. Lesson learned. Also think many men don’t realise how intimidating they are and the general apprehension we have to have around them, some do (and some enjoy it) but most decent guys don’t appreciate it because they know they personally would never do anything to harm a woman.

Rating people on physical appearance has become so commonplace now, it’s disgusting. Watch any street interview/rating video and the women will almost always rate themselves 5-7, and if they DARE to rate above a 7, the men will rip them to shreds in the comments for “not being humble.” And the best part? The men will rate the women around 7 (usually below) and themselves much higher. Imagine rating a gorgeous women a 7 max, and then rating yourself an 8.5?! 😂

Men are so insecure (not all men obvs) but I think they’re jealous of women. We live in an age where at least in the US there are more women and college than men and much more women choosing a career over their bf or their future children. We made a movement of girls supporting girls and we have made a lot of progress lately with support and lifting each other up. On the other hand, many men feel bitter and don’t have as great social connections with other men (ex. they’ll saying getting roasted is part of friendship, but they don’t actually get genuine support from friends and can’t be vulnerable), but they don’t want to be the one who starts being more accepting and supportive of their friends. Men also place a lot of value in relationships while many women are decentering from it recognizing there are many other valuable aspects of life. They feel like losers because they don’t have a gf (which is part of success to them), don’t have a support system, and have more competition in the workforce, etc. instead of bettering themselves or helping their friends they’d rather bring women down to their level because that’s easier

So glad someone said this, lol. I was telling my sister just recently that there are some men who really find any way to get attention from women *they think* think they’re better than said men. If you just look like you wouldn’t give them the time of day, they go out of their way to create a negative interaction with beautiful women for attention or to feel they’re putting those women in check. It becomes a self fulfilling prophecy because they view these women in a negative light, but they created the very interaction that confirms what they believed and will continue choosing to believe.

I think I am much older than most of your viewers. I am an old generation Xer. I am so happy with the content you share with young women. Ladies, in my 20's I was absolutely beautiful but never felt beautiful because I had no man. At 29 I became very ill and gained a lot of weight due to medication. But before I became ill I was determined to only be with a man who treated me well. It meant many years of celibacy. I don't regret it ever. Please appreciate your beauty in all its forms NOW. Inner and outer and your intellect and your skills. Find ways to love yourself, your life and people that matter in it. I used to tell my students "men are accessories not necessities". If a man or boy does not add to your life he will take and take and might eventually take your life. Once you learn to center yourself you will find so many wonder surprises come your way. That surprise might be a man. It might not. But you will grow strong enough to weather life's storms and figure out what your contribution to the world will be. So proud of all of you. A man I wasn't even interested in called me ugly to my face at a party (idk why he thought I cared 😂) and then pretended to be interested in my friend. I ignored him and went to dance with the guy I actually liked... The dude that called me ugly ended up literally stalking me and watching me so much during the party that the guy I was talking to had to ask me if I personally knew him. He also kept smugly smiling to himself like a weirdo. Anyways long story shortened... He tried to get my number when I was about to leave to party to "make up" for insulting me. This guy really thought his creepy erratic behavior would get me date him to "prove" my worth to him after "putting me down" . *Awesome Storytime:* It happened to me a few days ago, I was browsing Instagram and a girl who is a Latin American beauty queen uploaded a reel introducing her family and their professions. Most of her family members were men who had worked as naval servicemen. How did the men react from the comments? THEY HATED HER, THEY SERIOUSLY WERE TRYING TO DESTROY HER, they gave her the worst comments for modeling and not studying for the Armed Forces. They called her stupid and there was even a man who said that's why he didn't want to have daughters, in case they turned out "dumb" like the girl in the video. WTF? The thing about catering to the male gaze, In The beauty myth Naomi Wolff describes how it is basically impossible to meet the beauty standard because it was never meant to be achievable anyway. I think its important to take good care of your self and look presentable but actually attempting to fit the beauty standard perfectly will leave you miserable and with no confidence, making you an easy prey for low value men.

outside of my family + coworkers (because i have to be around them), i do not interact with men. the only male friends i have are from my uni days and we have a casual long distance friendship where we catch up 1-2x a year. i am open to dating but i do not actively seek out men to talk to or go out with. i don't drink alcohol with men. i don't spend time with men unless we are in a co-ed group. i do not develop deep ""friendships"" with men because it is rarely just friendship to them. i surround myself with other positive women who are like my sisters. i'm focusing on myself, my hobbies, my health, fostering connections with likeminded women, etc. and that is why i am at peace. plus i'd rather spend time with my cat than deal with a man's bs like the one seen in this video!

A lot of men constantly put women down, and it's a group effort by design, because if enough of them put enough women down, then more women will lower their standards and therefore be attainable. Don't fall for it, ladies! You deserve a man who *respects* and *supports* you. If he can't do those things, he ain't it. And yes, a man who fits the basic minimal standards is rare. Hold out for the right one. It's better to be single, anyway. Studies show women's quality of life get worse after marriage, and men's quality of life gets better after marriage. I can see why 20% of female zoomers have come out as bi, pan, or gay. 60% of men of reproductive age are single, whereas only 40% of women of reproductive age are single. How does that work? Exactly why I don't fully understand or support the point of this video. To cater to the beauty myth, you're still technically complying with the men who want to hold power over you. Not to mention, the consumerism aspect, of all the beauty products and surgeries being pushed. Beauty standards that coincide with this that always seem to be changing. And like you said, the women who let's say with "less desirable" traits, who have no capital, who can't even cater to it if they wanted to, are left behind in all of it. Some women might get the "bag", but what are they losing in return and what about other women?
