They way Zuby structures his arguments with these people are great. He preemptively speaks about catagories and how it wont be the same for everyone, and reiterated that this is HIS belief. Made it very difficult for any girl to jump in and say 'ACTUALLLYYY', and then present a 0.1% stat argument. Its important people get some shock value to be pushed into reassessing their values (Myron pushes), and also importsnt that people get a delicately put deeper thought process to ponder on (Zuby).

A wife is a person who puts other people's needs first, because she's got the job of being the primary caregiver to one or more dependents *and* being the sole support system of a primary provider. That means being pleasant and agreeable and *nurturing*... three things I have yet to see in a single modern woman.

Those kind of women are out there, you just probably aren't looking in the right place. I see a lot of them working at summer camp. Those young councilors are in their late teens/early twenties and co-responsible for a group of maybe 6 six kids 24/6 for weeks at a time, they get one day off a week. My advice is to find a woman who has worked at a summer camp for multiple summers. If they made it through a whole summer and then went back ( and got hired) the next year they are gems. If she's worked at camp for multiple years, never let her go. She's not only a nurse, therapist, teacher, baby sitter, social director, nature guide, she also knows how to have wholesome fun.

I think it's really important to know what your potential lifelong partners personality type is and how their mind and thought process work. For example, there is no reason a more extroverted person can't have a successful relationship with a more introverted person as long as each of them understands why they act and behave the way that they do and are prepared to accept and make allowances within the relationship for that. Know your personality type and make it the topic of conversation on your 1st date, if the person remains interested, they will want a 2nd date and will be eager to tell you their type if they didn't already know and will have studied up on yours and be just as eager to discuss it further.

I think the society issues now often relate to women wanting to be the wives of society not a man. The need to baby the public might come from good intentions but a child and peoppe need to struggle and get back up themselves. Now people get told there children and need help to live with everything. It's like the whole of society is being told it needs an HR department. With women being less likely to be mothers they treat evey child and person as their child, like teachers saying my kids instead of the pupils.

Primarily, she must be the woman God destined for you to be with for the rest of your life whose Lord and Savior is Jesus Christ, who's first in her, your help meet, your prayer partner, your one in agreement with, your one flesh covenant partner. All else that you both need will follow if both seek first God's kingdom and righteousness. As a married man, we've been experiencing this and our children are also benefiting from our obedience to the Lord's will and purpose. Glory to God! I like Zuby. But he needs to stick to what he knows. Taking relationship and family advice from a single, childless man in his late 30s is akin to getting real estate tips from a homeless person.

@mannyobi6171
@mannyobi6171 Жыл бұрын
Maybe the reason he is single (which he isn't last time I checked) and childless in his 30s is because the wisdom he's conveying makes him more careful in his selection process. Plus, he's very famous, very highly intellectual, very fit, and very religious, which are all reasons why I would think that while he has more options that it would be a lot harder for him to choose someone that can match him on those things as well as being culturally compatible with him.

The notion you need to already be married to know what you're looking for in a future wife is backwards and asinine.
@ThePbag
@ThePbag Жыл бұрын
@@ZubyMusicnot what I said at all, and an uncharacteristically weak attempt to deflect away from the point being made. I said that *giving advice* on marriage and children as an unmarried, childless person is questionable. The same as a person without financial success giving financial tips, or a person with unremarkable physique and strength giving coaching tips. Since you are successful in both of those latter things, I think you do better when you are advising on them. Leave marriage to those with the experience to speak capably on it.

This seems a bit simplistic. While many settle, the idea that most men can't have that choice would be a false dichotomy... if you've built a solid foundation through growth and intentional development, you will be rewarded with more choices. Women are more likely to marry "up" the hierarchy than men (hypergamy), while women tend to reject men who aren't "qualified". This would suggest that men are more willing to voluntarily "settle" than women, and it's not necessarily because they are "taking what they can get".

Imagine being so out of touch with reality that you can't conceive how you or your spouse might change over time. That someone with whom you fell in love in your twenties and married, might be a very different person in their forties. Imagine having values that demand you remain together even though you both want to move on and move out. How much self-loathing does that require, I wonder?

Sorry man, if you’re willing to end your marriage because someone’s “preferences” changed you shouldn’t be getting married, that’s what dating is for. Especially if kids are going to be involved. Our divorce rates are so high because people don’t take marriage seriously.

Imagine getting married in your twenties, changing as people over time, putting in the work to still know, love, and respect each other and still be together in your 40s/50s. Don't underestimate the bonds made over shared experiences be they good or bad. Just like how you can either quit or grow stronger from challenges as an individual, you can quit your marriage or grow stronger as a couple from challenges. Now if we're talking abuse or narcissist personality disorder, that's different. Edit: to be fair, we're Gen X. I couldn't imagine being in my twenties and trying to sift through some of the entitled brainwashed whiners that public school and universities are churning out these days. Not that all millennials and Gen Z are like that, but I don't envy your dating pool.
