1st story: As a bank teller, the way the bf was acting towards the gf when he was asking for her account information sounded like a huge scam to me. It sounded like he just wanted to steal from her. This sounds pretty similar to what the elderly customers I deal with daily run into from time to time. What's the most heartbreaking is when a family member is doing this to their elderly family members. Trust me...it DOES happen. This gf was def NOT the a-hole or being irrational - she was protecting herself. The fact he made a big deal out of this was also a red flag to me. Anyone that's in a hurry to get or take money, we usually assume something suspicious is up. Trust your gut, people, and don't give information like your account number out so easily.

that guilt tripping in the last story...it's his son, and it's his responsibility to care for him and his wife right after she gave birth. Maybe not so much his responsibility than being a good partner to take care of her after birth, but it's not something he should be holding over her.

What’s so sad to me is that in both these cases, the women were actually questioning their decisions. In the first one, she mentions that she doesn’t know if she can continue with him. Why is she even wondering? She should just show him the door and say adios. In the second one, the woman is asking if she should have just gone ahead and made him a second cup of coffee, when she was already 20 minutes late for work. After that immature and agressive, controlling reaction from him? Hell no! How is it that somehow women seem to be trained to think that, just maybe, they should just put their feelings and needs aside to just do whatever demanding thing their man(baby) wants? Women, train your daughters to know better than to put themselves second to their man!

Makes you wonder , what kinda nonsense that first guy told his buddies about the girl, in the first place. The fact he got so pissed wasn't actually about her not trusting him it was more about him looking bad to his buddy. He probably told his buddy/ buddies that he had her on "check" and that she's totally naive. That's the only thing I can think of since it's only been 8 months. I'm sure there was other buddies that one guy could've hit up for a loan rather then the way it went down.
@Kayenne542 жыл бұрын
First guy: highly unlikely the money was to "help out a friend" anyway. He's a liar. He lies about lying and about the lies he's used. Sociopathic behaviour. Especially trying to intimidate her into giving the money when they were face to face, let alone abusively over the phone at first. Second guy would have had his marching orders once that coffee cup hit the floor. Ladies, have an "FU" private bank account, at all times, tell no one. Not your mother, your sister, your cousin, your best friends and especially not your kids or your SO. It's a parachute so you can get out and have a soft landing. OP has just had a baby, so it's a huge step for her (kicking him or leaving), but it's one she should have made asap. Sooking about "doing her favours" when she's just gone through childbirth?

Girl, you did the right choice of not giving your partner your bank info. That's your freaking bank account not his. Besides you two haven't married yet, maybe this is your sign of why you shouldn't continue your relationship. If he can lie to you with just 8months of relationship, what else he could do after you got married to him - story two. The audacity of that husband makes my blood boil. She owe him for labor, the heck he's talking about. He's the one at fault why the Mrs is pregnant because he can't control his horniness 😂 and now he's blaming the wife for giving birth to his son. If I where it, since I'm being blame by that husband, I'll take my son away from him since he doesn't look like to have the responsibility of taking care of our child, my child then he don't have to. I could take care while working. For a mere coffee the husband's true form is showing. Hilarious. if he wants coffee that fit in his taste, make it yourself. That's your wife and not your slave. Grow up.

The first story infuriates me for many reasons. A. If you don't have $300 for a gaming console, neither you or your son need it. Teach your son to be humble instead of harassing your gf for money for non essential things you don't need. B. The entitlement he has that he just expects her money let alone for her to relinquish her bank details to him is just disrespectful. C. And then for him to get mad over the whole ordeal is just stupid. Be grateful that you have someone even willing to consider giving you 300 bucks for something you don't need. D. Only to find out it was all a lie.

Firstly, you should NEVER give your bank info to ANYONE you're not sharing an account with. It's not like they were married and it was a joint account, that would of course be different because both people on the account would need the info in order to use it but that wasn't the case in that first story. As for the second one, that guy really had a lot of nerve. What's stopping him from getting up off of his lazy ass and making his own coffee in the morning? Your wife/girlfriend is not your slave. If you expect your partner to do everything for you, you're not an adult, you're a child. That "man" is literally a baby. Pathetic. I can see he wasn't raised with parents who thought it was important to teach him how to take care of himself instead of having to get married and rely on his wife to take care of him. It's not her fault he wasn't raised properly, so he can't put that on her. Bad day or not, you need to have respect and love for your partner. She was being nice making him coffee in the first place. I can tell you that wouldn't have been me. I'm not his mother or his maid, so I'm not doing anything for him that he can easily do himself.

I also agree that he was probably using you to buy stuff for himself/friends. How disgusting. And he dare get mad at HER? nah bro. He's *only* her boyfriend. That doesn't mean she has to let him have all her info. I think they need to talk and/or break up if it gets worse (granted it's already pretty bad). 2nd: Why couldnt he make the coffee? Why did she have to make it? And how doesn't not having a single cup of coffee affect him so badly? Unless, it's not the coffee affecting him, but her setting boundaries and not dropping everything to help him. Cause that's what it sounds like from his tantrum. People like this are repulsive. Get your crap together and don't ruin someone's day just because they didn't have time to make you coffee.

And your out of your house/home as you do not have the money to pay for it. And he is trying to make her feel guilty. Saying its for his children. So she will give him the money. If he loved her he would understand and not keep asking her for money. Or save up the money for his childrens presents himself. Excuse me. Don't they get 2 weeks parturnity leave? If you do something nice for someone and expect something in return that's not being kind, that's doing business. Oh by the way purposely dropping that cup of coffee is disrespectful. It's time those men got over themselves and stop being entitled. Women are NOT their servers😡😠🤬

#1: Break up. Y'all don't know each other. Don't back peddle on your smart decision. Even some married couples can't trust each other with their money. #2: It's just a coffee and he's complaining about all the work he had to do for her while she was pregnant and after the birth of their child. That work is obvious to have to do for your spouse. Grow up, dude. That's seriously disgusting. If you like something made a particular way, make it yourself or give clear instructions. He has no respect for her and takes her love for him for granted just like the guy in the first story.
