Thank you for this video, I was so worried to the point of tears, Dementia did cross my mind, I'm 52 this year and in peri menopause since late 40s, I experience everything you mentioned, my speech is effected to, don't make sense half the time 😬 fatigue, lack of sleep. You've encouraged me to talk more now about how I'm feeling. I get that slump around 2 -3 too. Thanks everyone, really good post on this channel😊

I can't thank you enough Eileen. I find most useful your experiences. It helps me feel that my changes are not so crazy. I am in the final year (ish) and my brain seems to be taking a hit with the lowered hormones. Everything is more difficult, even the finances and paperwork I have done for our family, now takes me forever. It's like my thinking has even slowed down. I get very down on myself and feel so dumb. This video explains a bigger picture. Thanks again. ~Dee

Thank you for this video. I have always been good at remembering things, people's names, etc., but for the last several months I have been getting very forgetful. I will be in the middle of a conversation and suddenly forget the name of someone or a place I was referring to. I will also walk into a room and forget why I was going in there or what I was going to get. I make lists for shopping and things to do, but now I need to make lists of things I need to make lists for. I feel like a ditz. It's embarrassing and extremely annoying.

Indeed, we lose loads during menopause but our minds are not one of them. Magnesium and B vitamins are helpful for both calm and better rest.

Great tips. I started HRT (oral estrogen) Oct 2020 and vaginal estrogen June 2020. I feel so much better. My story is long but I do know the brain needs estrogen because it has helped me with these symptoms and so many more. These are wonderful tips. Even when I do not sleep well, I do not think as well or clearly whether taking estrogen or not taking it. Good sleep is important and vital for one's health. Blessings to all. 🙏

Oh man, vocabulary was a real struggle for a little while for me. I literally had no nouns! It got so bad that I was using words like "stuff", "thing", and then practically pointing and grunting! 🤣 I hope I don't experience that ever again!

Thank you for your wonderful amd helpful video.Just had my TAH BSO 3 mos ago and had started taking TiBolone a month after my operation. However, It made me no exemption from these menopausal syndrome. Ive diagnosed with anxiety disorder since 2016. WITH the help of the pills and clinical management it eased the attacks. Apparently, with the menopausal syndrome plus my anxiety disorder, Im dealing with these two, physically, emotionally and mentally...... I dont know if I have to go back to my neuro psych, who happened to be less empath, I dont know how to discuss with what exactly bothering me right now. Youve mentioned the 34 symptoms on your other video and I think I am one of the luckiest persons who almost got it all......Anyways. what troubled me now is my brain....I felt like there are hundreds of unknown activities on my head...or none at all..feeling, drowsy, sleepy, brain fog, lighteheadedness, but no headaches, and these contributed to my emotions, starting to get nervous about it, I really dont know, what to do first and foremost anymore..... Wish you could help me , some words of advice..... Thank you so much and praying for your well being as well.....Youre helping hundreds of women out there .....youre a blessing to us....Take care and best regards.

Hi I think the best thing to do is see your neuro psych but spend a few days making a list of how you feel so you can show them rather than trying to remember everything at the time. That may give them a better idea as to how you are feeling and experiencing day to day. Unfortunately, the menopause can make existing issues more difficult to cope with so do let them know that you are taking a hormonal medication as well. Why not look into EFT or NLP as these can teach you how to cope better with emotions/stress/anxiety and make you feel more in control. Take care too :) Best Wishes Eileen

Thank you for this. I'm 65 and have been blessed so far to not have had many symptoms of menopause. However lately I have been more forgetful. You're right...we think, "What is going on? Am I losing my mind or what!?" It's nice to know that we're not alone. Drinking water is something I need to do more. Thanks again

Thank you for this video. I went into menopause early due to stress at 41. It’s been 6 years since I’ve had a period and I’m still experiencing all of the symptoms you mentioned. How long does this go on? I have spent most of this time worrying about what’s going with me instead of the things you suggested so that could be the issue. I just know I’m not myself and I want it back 😔

Thank you for this talk. Im scared that I am getting a Alzheimer's or dementia some days; yes something to look out for; but we hear more about brain disorders than menopause and it could be as simple as treating yourself properly. I heard it somewhere that we need a little sugar or glucose for our brain?

I feel as if I'm getting dementia. Yesterday I forgot 4 things within a short span of time. Directional forgetting where or why I'm headed somewhere. I've never been prescribed hormone replacement. But I am very concerned about forgetting things. My mind is exhausted as well. Is there any herbs 🌿 or foods that can assist in producing estrogen?

Hi Miyoshi Yes, either a fermented soya supplement (such as our Menopause Support) or the herb Black Cohosh can provide phyto-oestrogens which can often help ease general menopause symptoms. The herb Gingko biloba is known to help with memory and brain fog too. Best Wishes Eileen
