It's been a bit over a year since my last period. I started morning anxiety last February. Pretty much every morning. It has taken my life away. The anxiety is just so HORRIBLE. Meditation and breathing has helped alot.. but the last 2 weeks I have not been meditating and totally feel the anxiety come back. I will be meditating daylie from now on. Girls.. please take time to meditate and do breathing exercises every day.. it really does help. To all you ladies out there, hugs 🫂 ... And thank you for this video, It's nice to know I am not crazy or alone. 😔

I've suffered with anxiety my whole life and this has become so difficult in peri-menopause, particularly if I have difficulty with sleep. I'm ok for 2 weeks in the month, but for about 10 days before my period I am struggling!! 😫 trying to keep reminding myself that I have got through every anxious day so far and I will get through every one that comes. Sending a hug to any of ladies dealing with this ❤ your videos are really helping me through xxx

Anxiety is magnified in peri menopause when estrogen spikes and progesterone falls. Progesterone is the calming hormone. Magnesium, progesterone cream, water, and a fast walk will help.

How to decrease anxiety once we are post menopausal?
@leslie3610
@leslie3610 3 жыл бұрын
@@thetree7694 you probably still have higher estrogen to lower (or non-existent) progesterone levels. Try progesterone cream(BIOIDENTICAL only) Bio identical progesterone cream prevents breast cancer. Stay away from non bio identical. Start low and work yourself up. I get depressed and super sleepy if I get too much. Magnesium is the vitamin to take. It not only helps a bit with anxiety, it helps with high blood pressure, sleep, digestion, and more. If you are able find a good doctor who will test your levels.

I started hrt at 46 years old.At around 56 years I was under a lot of pressure.My stress and anxiety levels were horrendous.I slept between 2-4 hours each night and would be up and down constantly throughout the night.I became terrified of being alone with my thoughts.The doctor put me on anti depressants that made me feel violently sick.I stopped taking them.I took magnesium for heartburn one evening and after 2 years of no sleep, I slept throughout the night.I started taking magnesium and it was the best thing I could have done.I sleep 6 + hours per night .My anxiety improved massively. I started taking vitamin D3 which is very cheap ,to protect me from covid.It turns out vitamin D3 is also very good for the nervous system.I am still taking hrt too.I feel so much better now.Very occasionally when I feel tired ,I may have a bit of a dip but it does lift .Getting a good nights sleep is so important.I had tried so many remedies but Magnesium was better than any anti depressant and had none of the antidepressant side effects.I hope this helps someone else.

When i was going through night sweats I was going through anxiety at the same time. Because i was not sleeping with night sweats (2 nights) so I started to loath going to bed because there was no guarantee i was going to sleep. I did keep a note of when these were happening but these episodes just got closer and closer. Also it killed my appetite so eventually i didn't know when it was the last time i slept and passed out at the bus stop. I'm glad to say that's all over with now. I wonder, will I ever be able to come back to normal life? it's impossible to function or have any balance. @AvogelCoUk

Hi Rita Most women do eventually come 'through' it and feel better, however, this can depend on general health, lifestyle and stress management. If you feel that you're really struggling, it is important to get a general health check. Other health issues such as low iron, poor thyroid function, low vitamin D, low B12, diabetes or heart disease can often appear at this time and cause symptoms similar to menopause ones. Your doctor can test for these just to rule them out. Best Wishes Eileen

I have endometriosis and got a hysterectomy within 3 laparoscopic surgeries. After my last surgery 3 days later a tree hit my house chopping it in half. We were all in there and none of us were hurt. A few months later once things started to settle and calm down after holiday I woke up in the evening from a nap in severe panic. I have severe trauma from my past, being gaslit but the medical field, and then the tree. Being put into medical menopause sure didn’t help me. I have a team of drs and put in the right kind of psych meds and HRT to help me. Therapy and EMDR including meds has helped Me tremendously!! I’m not 100 but I’m way better! Not everyone shares me story, I can deal with the pain, I can’t deal with the panic/fight or flight mode that I was stuck in. It was as if my mind or whatever was torturing me. I hope no one has to go through that ever and I hope myself and others heal and can control our anxieties with simplicity 💜

I suffer terrible anxiety with palpitations and migraines, the last migraine landed me in accident and emergency at hospital, I threw up and it sent my heart into spasm, they said it was arterial fibrillation, just hoping they were wrong and that it doesn’t happen again.

@@angelicaflores505 I wish they had, every few weeks I have severe anxiety for 2 to 3 weeks then a week of sleeping 3 or 4 hours a night triggering migraines then a couple of weeks it calms down then the cycle starts again, it's destroying, I have seen a menopause nurse today, I am trying Evorel patch and Utrogestan tablet to see how that goes, I'm using femseven patch at the moment they only go up to 50mcg, this is no good to me, I put 2 patches on which is off licence but I needed sleep so fingers crossed all goes well with the Evorel 🤦‍♀️

It doesnt matter how many layers of clothes i put on and wrap up in a blanket and head scarf, i am ICE to the bone. 🥶 This comes on suddenly and lasts about a half hour to an hour. I havent heard of it listed as a common symptom as far as i know, so im a little worried its from something else. 😬

@@AvogelCoUk Eileen, just I have a question. I appreciate your response. My last period was 6 months and one week ago and I am 55. It’s one week that I have sore and swollen breasts and painful. If I don’t get period what can the reason be to have PMS symptoms for a few weeks and sore and swollen breasts for one week up to now? If my estrogen is low what is the reason of PMS symptoms? I have touched, there’s nothing in the area. I see my family doctor at the end of this month and I am worried. I have had a lot of stress in recent month and it’s a long time that I take depression medication as my doctor prescribes and I have had a terrible premenopausal time since 5-6 years ago. Thank you so much! I appreciate your response because I believe that your information about menopause are so wonderful. Best Regards Shirin

Hi This is a difficult question as it is different for every woman. However, for most women they find that symptoms start to ease off or stop around 2-5 years after periods have finally finished and this is what I class 'after the menopause'. Best Wishes Eileen
