That bird colony needs a cat fence. This is not a cheap prospect by any means but programs in Australia have helped save critically endangered marsupials. It's worth it.

Cats are not evil, irresponsible people are to blame. Desex, microchip and contain it is very simple. Yes any cat outside this is fair game. However another way is, every cat removed from a shelter means another stray cat can be taken out of circulation. Perhaps you should try it you may even change you mind. 😼

@@OneCanisLupus No not the special pork. 🙀 To be honest any way is a way. I once visited the Highlands of Papua New Guinea. It was not uncommon to see hunters strolling down the road with a hall of cats. They were helping out the other local animals by doing so. Waste not want not.
