I'm crocheting while watching this. I actually started this after a sort of mental breakdown, so very fitting. I'm happy you're able to just discuss this and I hope nobody is going to hate on it.

Saying that when you're depressed, you don't think you'll get out of it really resonated with me. I started antidepressants about 6 years ago and I remember a distinct moment when I realized, "Oh, happiness is something you FEEL, it's not just a case of 'I have this good job/relationship/financial status so that means I'm happy now' like I've always thought." Very glad you're doing better and so, SO proud of you for taking the steps that work for you and realizing it's a journey not just a goal. Adulting sucks but you're killing it ❤

Please don't feel guilty when posting long videos! I love the longer videos! In fact, the longer the video, the more excited I am to click on it and watch it! And I'm glad you decided to talk about depression and mental health! There's so many people struggling with mental health/depression and I think it's great to talk about it! You never know who you could be helping! If anything, someone going through it may not feel so alone if they hear others talk about their struggles. You have such a kind heart Maria! And I'm so glad to hear that you are feeling so much better! Much love and hugs!

please don't feel guilty for posting long videos! i like to watch your and other crafter's videos so that I can feel as though I have crafty company while I work on my own projects, usually while I am alone! i enjoy listening to the topics of conversation, so as far as I am concerned, the longer the video the better because then I won't have to pause work on my project to find a new video to watch! haha

This video will always leave a special mark on my heart. I don't want to say too much right now, but I have been struggling. Your words were exactly what I needed to hear today. I needed to hear it so much that I was near tears while watching. Thank you so much Masha. You have come so far, and thank you for showing us that it is possible to get to a good point. Thank you for pushing us forward and encouraging us.

This was almost exactly what my therapist was telling me this week. As important as it is to grasp the idea, it doesn't make it an easy one to grasp.

This was great to listen to. Finding solutions to the small everyday frustrating things is such an important skill... and often one needs another set of eyes or brains to sort it out.

I am the one who loves the longer videos, too) I was doing my diamond painting while listening to you, I could do it for an hour or two or even more) I admire you for being so brave and open about your mental health, it helps me to inspire my little sister who is struggling right now! And personally for me it was important to hear that relaxing is also productive, it's going to help me not feeling so guilty while doing crafts) To all the people who read this comment I wish you to experience joy and happiness more often, find the ways and people that help you and never give up 💛💛💛

it was very nice to cross stitch along to this, and get some good mental health tips. i especially like the idea of working with your brain as far as home organization goes.

That is really good advice. Something Ive been doing myself is just that, not to change EVERYTHING at once, but one small good habit at a time. It takes effort to not get caught up in "i need to do this, and this, and this..." but its a good advice.

I love cross stitch as well. In the past has been very therapeutic for me. I still have yet to try any of the bracelets but have all my supplies. Depression is horrible and keeps me from doing the thing's I enjoy, such as cross stitch and other thing's. Thank you for your time and video's. Hugs >^..^

Ah, this helps a lot. ❤ I recently started feeling bad anxiety, and almost had my first panic attack a week ago. I started meditating and it really helps. I only think about it about 4-5 times a day, and for short amounts of time each time I think about it. I am so glad you are doing better, and I definitely feel your pain. Mental health is very important, and it is definitely something everyone needs to keep in check. It's wonderful that you made the smart decision to help yourself, I applaud you for that! You are such a strong person.

i believe everyone should have free or subsidised therapist sessions. like its so important, our brains and bodies are so interlinked yet keeping the mothership in tact is less important. i have adhd and autism, and being undiagnosed your whole life and being raised as a neurotypical person is really traumatising and has led to my brain being pretty f'd up. therapy should be so much more accessible and accepted in society because nobodys brain is perfect :)

I'm 99% certain I have undiagnosed ADHD. I got depressed when my highschool 💖 committed suicide. I've never sought therapy, cost is one of the reasons, the other being just plain terrified of someone picking my brain...

Actually I thought getting connected to yourself was rather a problem of earlier decades, centuries, because nowadays everbody is chatting about her/him-self all the time. Well, this chatting seems to be quite superficial, maybe it's all about to be pleasing to the others and not caring about the own person.
