Being with a narcissist : To me a narcissistic relationship is like meeting someone who convinces you that you’re both meant to be. They love bomb you and spoil you with love, affection, and attention you always wanted and felt you deserved. They notice little things about you to really sell you on them falling for you because “they’ve never met anyone like you.” Then one day they invite you into their really nice car. You get in because even though it’s too soon to trust them, for some reason you do because they seem so sure about you and in love with you. You get into the car and after a while they start speed as fast as they can and drive you right into a wall. However, before crashing, they jump out of the speeding car and watch as you crash. They get up and walk away without looking back because now that you’re dead to them, they need someone new, a new supply. They don’t even look back because somehow it’s your fault and you’ve served your purpose. You realize you’re still alive. Your body starts moving slowly and somehow you’re able to peel yourself off of the wall and climb out of the rubble. By this time the narc starts to get a little faint tingle in their body. They some somehow know that you’re okay. They tingle as you’re healing yourself. Then once you get close to benign completely healed (approximately three months) their slight tingle turns into an unquestionable itch. They can feel that you’re not dead and now they need to see their crime scene to make sure you’re not doing better than them, so they can move on with their life. They visit the places you frequent, mine I was church, looking for you to see if they left any scares. They see you you’re doing better. Their most recent supply has just got in their own mysterious accident and they miss you and are back on the prowl. They can see you doing better, therefore they think you must think you’re better than them. NOT ON THEIR WATCH! They then Hoover and scheme a way back into your life. They try to love bomb you back into a newer and better car (relationship) that looks shiner and better than the one before. A FASTER car. One with promises of the future. A future that can be as soon as tomorrow. You fall for it, so you get in and go for a nice hot ride. However this time they start speeding off much faster and s tab you before jumping out to make sure you are damaged too much to be able to come back. The third time they s tab you and light the car on fire. Each time is much worse and each time they know you know they’ll crash the car so it’s all your fault! You got in the car after all… It’s been months and I still physically feel like I’ve been throw into a wall and flattened. He’s never put his hands on me, but Withdrawal from a narc is no joke with their intentional manipulation to get you addicted to them. The very worst part that no one talks about is even after each and every purposeful and intentional crash, you really do hope the very next time you get into the relationship vehicle will be like the first time you two met. That person was never real. Don’t go back.

Yeah this happened with my ex husband. The last week before I left him, he could feel I had withdrawn myself. He kept quiet for a whole week, then walked in one day, blocked the door with his body and started yelling at me saying I was gonna leave him etc etc. I was actually quite scared because he had a gun and I felt like there was a chance he might use it on me and himself if I told him my plans outright. I said some soothing things and then the moment he left for the day I packed a suitcase and left. No regrets!!!

In a real crime documentary, her partner was a malignant narcissist/ psychopath. They had 2 sons. When she got tired of his lies and mind games she started pulling away from him. She slept in a different room. He started to freak out when he was losing her. One day he got it in his twisted mind that all of a sudden, those are not his sons. He went off and said who's their father bec I know you were cheating on me!!!! He physically jumped her and the fight ended up in the garage. He poured gasoline on her and set her on fire. The neighbor heard her screams, and rescued her/ called the ambulance. He ran like the coward that he is but the cops found him. Good news is, she survived.. found a man who treats her well, he never judged her for her facial scars and they are very happy together and engaged... probably married now. Be CAREFUL YALL.❤

Two weeks here. It gets easier. It’s still awful but them caving and hoovering with some unrelated crisis after their reverse hoovering didn’t work actually was pretty vindicating in a way. He indirectly tried to contact me last week through posting a music cover of some sad lost lovesong with the description "based on real events" the day after I changed my profile pic to me with some male friend I have 😂 I'm not even with anyone else (I dont care if he thinks I am tbh) he's way too scared to speak to me directly. He always expected me to reach out to him because of his inflated ego, and I always did, but no more. Our last interaction wasn't even negative. He's just not used to the lack of attention from me. I played his game up until I've realized he was a narcissist. I looked back at everything and checked the list and he represented all of it. Until he started to do things to get my attention and to make me reach out. I disabled all my updates etc fron him to see and stop looked at any updates from him etc. Until he took it upon him self to delete/blocked me 🤣🤣. The day I knew i won over a narcissist. You can not do the delete/block them or they will feel that you are hurt/emotional. You have to show them that you are unbothered by them and they are invisible. 😂😂😂

He put his hands on me bc I decided I had enough n moved on. I got a protective order and went no contact! He took it out on our daughter by not paying child support or seeing her. At first I was begging him to be a dad 🤦🏽‍♀️ bc I didn’t have my biological dad. But then I realized that was just feeding his ego and he wasn’t changing. So I just went no contact and focused on my daughter. Haven’t spoke to him in months! My daughter will be one June 7th and he’s seen her twice when she was very first home from the hospital. I dealt with someone who is just like that. My first and only adult committed relationship 😢. They were lying, cheating, and sleeping with others everywhere every time I turned around. I was tired of dealing with it and wanted out. We were on the highway and I was simply trying to break up with them saying you know we should go our separate ways. Hey Lee. Great video. I cut off contact years ago with my father and he absolutely lost his mind. I couldn't believe how he acted. He walked around my home yelling at the top of his lungs (attracting attention from my neighbors). Then he tried to break into my housel When that didn't work, he yelled, "When I get my hands on you, I will kill you." The police were called and they made him leave. I have never came to look up this topic until I meant this person … because I’ve never seen this action before . Dang if I don’t call him when I wake up , when I get to work , on my breaks and lunch at work .. he thinks I’m talking to someone else .. never keep his word. We had plans and he just changed his mind . So I said u know what I don’t have time this I’m done .. The next day love bomb hard … wanna talk all day . One time I didn’t answer the phone because I had a lot going on and he said that night he almost lost his mind he had to take 5 shots to sleep 💤 . At the same time I see a lil boy in a mans body . I left an abusive relationship and came to stay with my mom. I hadn’t lived with her since I was 18 and this happened at 43. After two years I finally realized she was a narcissist. She became emotionally and physically abusive and very controlling. It was like she was obsessed with controlling everything in my life. I’m on disability and i can’t afford to move yet. I had to learn to disengage with her and limit contact. It drove her so nuts not getting my attention that she got a dog 🤦‍♀️ I feel bad for the dog. Everything else you said is true too. She has called cops and lied about me and I was involuntarily committed 3 times and she was an ER crisis nurse! These were her coworkers that admitted me. She also knew the cops from her job because we live in a really small town. The way she love bombs is to buy stuff. She thinks she can buy me. She has also taken up “special causes” in the family. As soon as any of my younger cousins goes through anything, she is right there acting like the hero. Yet, once they get through whatever they are struggling with and go back to living their lives, and not constantly praising her, she gets bored and i never hear anything else about them from her.

I’m going through this now as long as I respond to him he’s ok but the minute i ignore him he has a problem with it but does the same to other’s narcissist at its finest he also would ghost me and come back when he felt like it I got tired I said I’m not a yoyo or a toy you can keep playing with when you want and playing on my emotions then telling me you love me just to get what you want from me and move on to the next no thank you this is very toxic like I don’t ever want to be in a relationship i rather be single and have my peace

I definitely started treating her like she treated me towards the end. Just sitting on the couch in silence while she stared at her phone the entire time. She waited until the day after her birthday to discard me because she knew I was a good gift giver and would get her shit. Honestly had a weight lifted when I told her I was gonna pack my shit, I was humming through the house while I grabbed everything. Sure it pissed her off, but deep inside I knew I was done. Took until me researching NPD after I remember her telling me her mother was one that literally everything made sense in her actions. Good fucking riddance.

he mirrors my ignoring him and ignores me, then proceeds to call it quits, after ‘carefully’ planning out how he’s going to move on leaching off different individuals that are in his circle .. he’s never accused me of someone else, and has commented on my loyalty to his family | friends; i initially ignore him after so much antagonizing, and annoying repeated behaviors, because if i speak up about what he’s doing in the relationship, he gets violent, gaslights, tries to confuse and intimidate me. ***he’s currently on a binge of staying out all night until sunrise, and gave me 4days to move out.

and thats why when my rental agreement ended, I told him I moved out because I was preparing myself to discard him. but I haven't actually moved out. It's been a month since I blocked him now, and I really hope he will never have the intelligence to come look for me at my "old" place. The reason why I told him I was going to move out in the first place is because he sent someone to my door one day to scare me with a gun. and I couldnt even imagine at that time that it was him who sent that guy. It was literally the first person I called (before 911) when the incident happened and he acted like he had nothing to do with that, and manipulated me into thinking it was my ex because the ex wanted to get back with me. and that nigga even asked for my ex address so he could go "make him stop disturbing me". He never bothered to come stay with me that night to at least make me feel safe. I barely slept that night, with a knife under my pillow.

Im in no contact with him since 2021, i was wondering why he lashed out one night, summer of 2023, for mothers day he gave me 2 roses ( rest for his new supply), i ignored him, after 3 weeks, he went crazy, i called my daughter ( she had visitation with him)from a concert, he took the phone and smashed my daughter phone 4-5times and then threatened her that "tell your mom, aunt, grandma including yourself better not go anywhere". His married his supply under the table (nikka) and dragging out the divorce.

I listen to a lot of experts on Narcissism. I feel like Lee Hammock is one of the few that focuses on how dangerous a Narc can become after you stop giving them attention. I’m strongly suspicious that my ex Narc hired someone to unleash his dangerous Pitbull on me and my dogs while on a walk. The owner was letting the attack play out until a bystander hit the Pit in the face. Then the owner grabbed him. The owner says he’d pay my vet bills but he didn’t UNTIL I mentioned my Narc’s name. I had been waiting and asking for days. Yesterday I texted him, “I’m pretty sure B**** (ex narc) can afford to pay the bill.” Guess what? No response to that message but he sent me the money 3 hours after I sent that message. I do believe my ex Narc hired this man to unleash his dog on me.

And he would like lingerie models photos on IG and say they were his “friends”.
