My husband tried to have me sanctioned; I was taken from my home by the police to the hospital to have a phyc evaluation; while I was there, he took out an AVO so I could not return to my home. There had been no argument at the time, no reason to be removed. I still do not know what was said for me to be taken from my home by the police. I lost my home and my children. I think he had been planning for a very long time to get rid of me. Now he wants to get remarried. Not a chance!!

Absolute truth!! Every single time I started to heal and felt better, he came back around! I had no idea about narcissism back then. I just knew I missed him and was hopeful things would be different. He had some great apologies and seemed so sincere. It happened over and over for so many years until I realized what was happening and knew I had to break away. It’s been a year and 2 months of limited contact and I am so proud of myself for not going back! I take it day by day because I know it’s easy to get sucked back in that cycle if you’re not careful. If he has offered to help her in the past and declined the offer, he did right by moving on. I am in the same boat, I dated a beautiful women, long distance relationship (she lives in italy). I would travel to visit her, went 6x in 2yrs. Took her all over Italy, Rome, Vatican city, Paris, Athens and you know what she would tell me? If I don't do it, someone else will. That would kill me inside because I live 5k miles from her. Travel is time consuming n expensive. But I would do it because I loved her. She worked as an exotic dancer, also worked at a pub with mostly male customers. She would only work jobs with mostly male presence. She loved the attention, complements n the gifts she would get. She then started disappearing for a few days at a time. I asked her plenty of times to change her ways. I told her I would stick by her if she tried to make an effort to get help. She never did. She progressively started to get worst. I finally ghosted her in June and I have gone no contact with her. Do you think she tried looking for me? Nope. She is too busy with her multiple supplies. So this man did what he had to do. Moved on and is doing for him. We cannot love someone that doesn't respect us or can't love us back. If I ever saw my x-narc with another man, I would feel, bad for him. Because it's gonna cost him time, money, patience. And is going to bring him alot of pain, stress, anxiety, depression. Not worth it with these ppl. Run n don't go back.

Oh myy god, I dumped my ex a couple of years ago, I was in a horrific dark place by the end of the relationship. Time passed and we ended up gradually becoming really good friends (or so I thought) I quit drinking and got a new boyfriend. The relationship with the new guy wasn't toxic at all, but we were long distance and it kinda of just fizzled out ....but I was feeling good about myself, lost weight, felt confident. My ex truly made me believe he'd changed. He would talk to me and listen, he seemed open and honest. I really trusted him. I’m glowing, healing, losing weight, and making my money. My ex of 8+ years cheated on me and now is in a relationship with the girl he cheated on me with. He claimed they said to each other they are soul mates. I blocked him and wish him the best of luck and the chapter is over between us. He deleted me on social media. 3 days later he posted a new display pic of him and his gf. I left him on my social media so it doesn’t look like it phases me. Before he discard me, I took him back and he made a comment prior to discarding me saying that despite all he put me thru, I still came back to him. I wish he could change but he def became a worse person with this new girl, and she even tattoo him. I wish them best of luck, since he is marrying her so she can stay in the country. This literally happened. Didn’t talk to him for awhile and then I lost weight start taking trips and finally being happy. He came back and my dumb ass thought it would work. He stressed me out so bad so gained all of it back and boom he discarded me. I’m back on my healing journey and won’t let him trick me again

My overweight ex narc's friends told me I would gain weight 🫤. I thought that was the strangest comment. I DID gain weight in the relationship. They must have seen many a victim in a 20 year "friendship" with the narc.

My intensely reactive and defensive now exN verbally abused me terribly so often to the point that I told him to get out twice. He went to his female friend’s in law apartment, (harem garage member), telling them I’m “mentally” unstable, damaged, and a chaos monger. Nothing about the horrific things he would say and do that pushed me to my absolute limit of emotional pain, screaming at him to leave. As soon as he saw me getting string and well after a month or two apart, he’d revalue me and love bomb back in and I would let him move back. The final discard this summer was when I finally fell apart totally, god how fully I crumbled, and began using the words “rage-aholic” and “narcissistic abuse.” (Hint: they don’t like when we catch on.) He moved out and told everyone (especially his harem garage of still fawning exes) that I’m absolutely unstable and insane. I feel bad for his flying monkey chicks now. They’re so duped. Wait ‘til he starts dumping the rage he can no longer dump on me, on others. Maybe on them. It has to go somewhere, doesn’t it.

They definitely can and I'd also watch them like a hawk. I have a family member who would treat me terribly. When I set boundaries and refused to tolerate it. He stopped the crap. I check him every time he attempts to cross a boundary. He still will always try but much less often. I enforce the boundary every time. He hates being embarrassed so he doesn't try me as much.

I own free space in their head. Their soul is connected to mine for life times. I forgave now they are waking up to our spiritual/soul connection and are seeking answers. Just doing what God told me to do. Can only laugh about the human narc/empath relationship because it is not what people have been programmed to beLIEve. Higher powers run this world not humans. They can not win as LOVE is the greatest power next to true knowledge on this planet. Best to all healing to become aware from within themselves to what is truely happening without on this planet.

He was soooo sneaky! In the end I told him he‘s a full fledged narcissist and sent him articles about it. What did he do? He picked up all the info about the psychodynamics and said: I m so vulnerable! I m a victim! I m traumatized…and so on. Took it just to manipulate even more recklessly. Well I threw him out and mortyfied him so he avoids me like the plague. Lucky me 😝

I let one come back simply out of curiosity how badly that going to turn out. No surprises there. She first tried to guilt trip me by bringing up things I told her how she made me feel and I guess she expected me to apologize without reflecting on that her narc rage was not the most acceptable behavior. Eventually she went Casper on me without even provoking her and she isn't missed for 10 good years... I do wonder what are your views on putting the narc in their place like you would discipline a child.
