I was a daddy's girl and he taught me how to fish and trout was our favorite, to catch and eat! I'm grateful I had a dad that saw his daughter as just someone he loved to share with! Looking back now, I'm seventy years old and still miss my dad! Thanks dad you taught me the value of catch and release and the best way to wrap a fish in an aluminum suit and cook it on the coals!

There are few things more delicious than fresh caught trout. Used to go fishing with buddies in the rocky mountain west. We had our favorite lakes and streams. It was simplicity itself - spend a few hours in the mountain outdoors, hook a fish (or three), and then gut one, de-bone, and put inside a little bit of olive oil, salt, pepper, and a squeeze of a lemon. Wrap in aluminum foil, put on the grill, and it's ready in 10 minutes. After spending time outdoors for a few hours in that clean, fresh mountain air, moving thru bushes growing by the stream or lake, you work up a surprising appetite, and the trout is better than anything you can think of. @@skye_belle888 Well, Kobe looks like a Spaniel, which I believe were bred to bring prey back to the hunter rather than eat it themselves. Much more polite. Unlike the dachshund, whose appetite is never sated, and who hunts to get rid of vermin, sometimes by trying to swallow them whole while they're still kicking. (Which gives the owner a chance to pry that poor baby chipmunk out of the dachshund's mouth.)

Ahhh I love this channel. Currently I’m living in a small American apartment with poor ventilation, no window in the kitchen, and a kitchen fan that doesn’t vent to the outside. I am drooling looking at those homemade “chips” or French fries! Oh this looks so delicious! But if I tried to make them I’d set off my smoke alarm. Sigh.

Aww I really feel your pain as I'm currently renting one room with no kitchen use at all apart from a microwave 😢 I'm actually jealous of your small apartment now. If I were you I'd just take out the smoke alarm batteries while cooking if possible? You should be able to make a complaint to the landlord too as normal smoke alarm renting regulations require the smoke alarm to be far enough from cooking to prevent it going off. I once lived in a horrible rental and the smoke alarm was installed too close to the kitchen - even popping a bag of popcorn in the microwave set it off. We complained to the owner and eventually he had it reinstalled and a new one put in. The noise was upsetting the neighbours and we couldn't cook! All the best with your situation. I know how much renting sucks xx

@@skye_belle888 Aww, I've just adapted how I cook to use more sauces and more covering the pan with a lid. Nothing crispy like French Fries. I just made a sweet potato shakshuka with Ethiopian berbere spices which was killer, so I'm not suffering. But mmm, a steak and fries would just not work.

I only ever had trout in Poland 🇵🇱 I still remember as a child the bathtub full of water and live trout swimming around inside the day before Christmas 😂 Now I think back to how strange it seemed. Trout seems very popular in Poland and surrounding countries from what I remember. This video was beautiful. Not just the delicious meal but the beautiful nature. I really wish I had someone to teach me to fish and go camping with 🏕🏞🎣🐟🔥

Yum trout tacos 🐟 🌮 I wasn't expecting this. A nice change from steaks and manwiches. Fish looked delicious and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Perfectly cooked. I'd eat that skin too. Those parmesan cheese taco shells always get me. No need for high carb tortillas when you can just use cheese! I really want to learn how to make these at home. The sauce was of course perfection - a mix of pickled cucumbers, onions, garlic, sour cream and dill 👌 The perfect sauce to go with fish or seafood. Absolutely delicious! Oh and who could forget the freshly fried potato chips. One of my favourites for sure!

I really like this channel however, there’s no way you caught those fish with your hands! Believe me I know. They are way too slimy and incredibly fast. Fish that big know how to evade predators. That’s why they got that big. I do like your cooking
