Great video however a few corrections: 1:20 his bloom dmg increase is described as for the entire team however bloom cores snapshot the damage and therefore his buff only works on his own bloom cores in foreward bloom. At 2:25 the start of the rotation works with reverse bloom if anyone wonders why his buff is "buggy". 2:30 you don't wanna use his skill if you have more then 2 bloom cores on field because bloom core reactions can only do damage to a enemy twice per 0,5 sec (making his skill practically unplayable until c6). 4:20 while i do agree that reaction ownership is sometimes hard to control, reverse blooming is pretty consistent and generates at least twice as much bloom cores on average. Kavehs slow atk speed make him a great foreward bloom character however even barbara bloom can outperform a kaveh bloom team due to reverse bloom generally being better. 10:50 do take not that with another dendro character it is much more likely that you will reverse bloom, making kaveh a really bad slot in these teams. Quick swap dendro characters like collei, dendro mc or yaoyao will outperform him in that instance if build correctly. If you go with teams like suggested at 11:00 (dendro, hydro, anemo and kaveh) this still holds true. 12:30 you can also go with furina if you go for baizhu however neither of their applications are great and with someone like kaveh you won't be able to hold reaction ownership of anyone. Baizhu himself is aside from nilou the best support as he buffs bloom reactions teamwide without any bugs or miswritten description and has rather slow dendro application making foreward bloom with yelan and furina possible.

Yeah, when I heard that he mentioned how Kaveh gives bonus damage to all bloom cores, I was a bit confused, as I was 100% certain that it only affects his own cores. His kit is overall quite bad, and being slow on-field dendro applicator doesn't save him. He is outperformed by DMC in most teams where you want dendro, and his bloom team is underwhelming in comparison to even Barbara. It's quite sad, really

I spent 300+ wishes to get c6. But I'm happy that I got him I don't play Kaveh with Nilu. I like the team of Kaveh(DMG, EM), Nahida, Elan(HP, DMG), Xingqiu(EM). Nahida gives him energy. And Xingqiu creates a dendro cores. I get 36* every abyss with such a command )))) And yes, I know that this happens because of the strong support in the team. Another interesting team is Kaveh, dendro, hydro and cryo. This is fun

Alhaitham would be better in a spread or hyperbloom comp, so kaveh can fully utilize the bloom comp with your hydro

Yes characters like Xingqiu, Yelan, and Furina should not stray off their standard crit builds and just should get a little bit of EM in substats. There are Kokomi builds that use full EM with a weapon like Sacrificial Fragments for better skill uptime without her burst, but aren’t mandatory either.

What's the recommended set for Xingqiu? Do I need full EM as well? I currently have it using 4pc Noblesse standard build from 1.0+.

Depends on your weapon choice. If you have r5 sacrificial you can go as low as 160% er (energy recharge) and therefore use something like Paradise, gilded dreams, noblesse or with furina you can equip Vermillion, hunter or vourukasha glow. Without any sac you wanna have above 250% er and go emblem of severed fate. If your team has two dendros units you will reverse bloom (bloom with hydro characters) making gilded dreams and paradise the better options. With kaveh teams it is recommended to go forward bloom (even though it triggers less bloom cores) and buff his personal damage with something like noblesse. For more general use emblem of severed fate is always recommended as Xingqiu has high er requirements and deals significant damage besides his insane hydro application and defensive utility. Everything that doesn't go into er should go in em in reverse bloom and into atk or crit in forward bloom teams. Do note that with fav sword you want to have a crit rate above 50% and can sacrifice some er for it.
